- Favorite Bruce song:
no way no how can just say 1... i'll keep short as possible...
all time = thunder road

week before that? oh you get the idea...
- Favorite member of the E-Street Band besides Bruce:
clarence...steven close 2nd
- What song really made you start to listen to Bruce?
dancing in the dark {I was 15-the 1st single by him I paid attn. too}
- Favorite Bruce
lyric:
"so leave behind your sorrows-let this day be the last-tomorrow there'll be sunshine-and all this darkness past-where these big wheels roll through fields where sunlight streams-meet me in the land of hope and dreams..."
the man's passion is ageless and timeless, and he is the only writer that can consistantly bring a chill and tear of joy to my eye the 1st time I hear lines like that.
- How much do you resemble Bruce?
yeah,I guess on the Lucky Town cover...I'm 5'11", 180-190 w/goatee...depressing thing is I have thinner hair on top than Bruce tho...and I'm 20 yrs his junior!
- Can you play guitar?
I can play rhythm a bit-better @ keys,singing,lyrics

Steve on Bruce:
The message of his music is not to "believe in Bruce..." but to believe in yourself. Maybe that is where you should look
first
Maybe the 'american skin' he refers to is actually the COPS who go out every day facing their own demise. Sad society when our own police are just as scared as us.
If I were a tree, I'd be = a Bruce 2001-02 tour bootleg tree, soundboard ,
with cover art, double disc cases.....
And who cares if Bruce ever tried drugs? As a non-drinker/smoker/druggie I would hope not...but I really could care less about his personal habits. I don't care if he stinks, farts, swears, spits, talks with his mouth full, picks his nose, drinks, belches, snores, etc etc etc. I doubt if he's coming over for dinner tonight. Let Patti and his family worry about such things--I like his rock n roll.
If I love so many artists, and differant styles, and yet I choose Bruce as my fav, that only lends more credibility, right? After all, we ain't 'dead heads..'!!
fan since = the Dancin in the Dark summer '84 cruisin around in my jacked up
'76 nova blasting my only 2 tapes, bitusa and bryan adams' reckless
Yeah you gotta take a Bruce break occasionally....I channel surf, listen to
some other acts I enjoy....for, like, a few days!! Not 6 weeks!!
...on life, love & death:
I told her I'm still working stupid jobs, still trying to chase my silly ol' dreams of being a writer. She told me she had no doubt I'd be succcesful. It was just like old times. I was ashamed, trying to impress her, and she made me feel I could rule the world.
Politics and religion just give me a headache.
I cannot think of a fate worse for any female than being known as "Mrs B
Disguised"
does "hey li'l girl with the blue jeans on...wanna ram-rod with you baby 'till half-past-dawn" qualify as romantic??
In my next life = I'm going to actually pursue a songwriting career
whole-heartedly, become very successful, get a big head, fire my band, alienate
my friends and family, jump from one meaningless relationship to another, lose
my touch, seek therepy, drop from the public eye for years, sink into a
bottomless pit of self-caricaturization, only to launch a successful comeback,
receive a special Grammy, tear up and break down at the ceremony, marry a
supermodel, and live happily ever after. Oh yeah, and meet Bruce.
So don't worry about ol' " BD " .... I'll be the one laying in bed,
big-ol' morphine grin on my face , headphones on , singing " THIS
TRAIN....." at the top of my lungs....
