Welcome young Doug.........I promise no football talk....................should be along at ten according to the rumours..

good - I've given up 5 a side footy tonight for this. Well, that and a Pizza Hut takeaway.

No football? Who are we going to upset then?

The Welsh

The Welsh are just as bad as those bleeding Scots. If it was up to me, they'd get a damn good talking to.

You'll never guess what happened to me and Dr Greene this lunch-time. Well .... I was diddling about in Ashington after school, looking for P plates to go on the car when Kate drives it (with me) tomorrow ... I reckon folk'll give her more room if they know she's just recently passed her test. So ... I eventually found some, chose the green L ones cos they say New Driver under the L - yes, I know she'll take them off when I'm not looking but the thought's there.

Anyway ... Dr Greene was tootling along the road from Guide Post when a pheasant started to cross the road in front of me, lovely thing it was, minding its own business. I turned the wheel a little but knew that the best thing to do was to keep going - cars behind, cars coming towards me - so I did ... and ... THUMP!!!! I looked in the mirror and saw this squashed dark heap on the road with feathers flying all over the place - it looked like an explosion in a duvet factory!!!! :o

I looked at the lady in the car going the other way and she looked a little surprised but had a smile on her face. At least the pheasant won't have known a thing about it.

There now .... AND the day started with me having to take a detour because that same road had been blocked off .... I wonder if they'll block it off again because of this event. Probably not, eh?

Careful, I upset one in the Lion's Den and got called a 'kn#b head' and a 'plonker'. I feel like I've really arrived now!!

I couldn't stand that fella! My mam's favourite was Jackie Pallo, mine was Johnny - can't remember his surname - yon black bloke.

Can you say that? Black, not bloke. I'd have said coloured bloke but I think that's not ok now.

Quango - just remembered it.

I think it was spelled Kwango.

His specialty was the "head butt".

I always thought that a bit weird, loads of the other guys had specialty moves that involved complicated bending of limbs etc.

His was putting the heid in.

I liked Kendo Nagasaki.

I've just been watching a video of Johnny ... and he used the head butt ... heck, I used to believe it all in those days.

Kwango, not Southside.

Hey, our Bossman (Mark) has been busy booking tickets ;) Hope he comes along and tells us about it all!

PS. I loved David McCallum as Ilya Kuriakin (?) in The Man from U. He was the first pin up on my wall when I was a little gal. :)

actually he's a neurosurgeon, so he's probably picking brains instead of peppers ...

The wife asked me what I was doing on the computer last night.I told her I was looking for cheap flights. "I love you!" she said, and then she got all excited, That night we had the most amazing sex ever....

Which is odd because she’s never shown an interest in darts before?
