John Legend - Dancing in the Dark

The Roots - Born In The USA Parody
I want to sleep beneath
Peaceful skies in my lover's bed
With a wide open country in my eyes
And these romantic dreams in my head

Oh man, that's a bad version of Dancing in the Dark! Unimaginative (looks like what a mediocre musicina would do in a Jazz parody of the song) and the guy sings like he's on American Idol.

I seem to be completely out of whack with a large section of this board in terms of musical taste.

Not completely! I seem to remember that I told you once that you have a fantastic musical taste and that you have a terrible musical taste... ;)

God I hate Jazz. I think it was probably really good though. Seems like a real nice vocal.
This Turnpike sure is spooky at night when you're all alone.

I really got no problem with synths myself. Not sure what my deal is. Love the synth solo on Two Faces. Anywho, wonder how Elvis Costello will do tonight. He's doing Brilliant Disguise so that's a good thing.

I really like his singing. The music going on is all over the place, very messy. I think this would sound truly excellent as a solo piano version.
