She's a great actor I think. Well, better than most others. So you're a fan of Sofie, Bri? Did you know that she's doing TV commercials for an Austrian insurance company? It's one of those multi-part/"to-be-continued", episode-like marketing campaigns, where she plays a single mother with a teenage daughter who has a romantic interest in her neighbor. She's in that company's print ads as well.
I think this was the first of those spots:

I did not know about that commercial
This is her best moment in film
All of the actors (except 1) have been in bigger international movies since this one

Funny thing is, I didn't even know she was a well-known actress in Denmark. Only about three months or so ago, my wife and I watched the original Danish version of the film "Nightwatch" (later remade in the U.S. with Ewan McGregor and Nick Nolte) in which she starred. Until about half an hour into the movie I kept thinking, dammit, that girl looks familiar, and then it finally clicked: "That's the woman from those insurance company commercials!"
Sometimes you do see familiar faces you just can't place
I had another one the other day. The movie called "Unknown Identity" with Liam Neeson and Aidan Quinn. There is another guy in it, Frank Langella and I just couldn't place him as he looked familiar. Then suddenly it hit me...... FROST/NIXON!! He played Richard Nixon
Btw, the original Nightwatch is far superior to the remake!

Frank Langella also played the title role in John Badham's 1979 "Dracula" movie...I'd always recognize him from there!

It's just WAY batter acted all the way through.
I fully agree.

I'm on the second series of Borgen - even better than the first imo.
Looking forward to Bron/Broen too.

I'll have to sell the boxset now.

Re Borgen 2, did you buy the DVDs? Cheapest I saw was about £56. At that price, I'll wait for BBC 4.

I downloaded it from either ThePirateBay or isohunt (I think the former).
It's on dvdr too - so you get the exact same layout as on the dvd - chapters/menus etc.
I know it's illegal - and i hope the SRA don't read Greasylake
But I did buy the first series on dvd - so that's my justification!
