If it's as good a show as the one in mackemland I'll be chuffed to bit.
And even more chufffed if the rain holds off as it did for most of last night.

The BBC are still forecasting heavy rain all day. Still, last night was much better than forecast so fingers crossed.

On the 'dry' side of the Pennines here and it's been hammering it down all night and for a lot of yesterday. Will there be a pitch inspection over on the 'wet' side of the Pennines?

Once again, I'm wishing everyone a fantastic time in Manchester - even though it's in the 'blue' part of the city

I shall try and send you some pac-a-macs and wellies later.

No! It was photoshopped. It's never sunny in Manchester. :)

There was that show in Philadelphia in 1999 that was postponed because of a hurricane!

I have to say the rain here isn't as bad as pre-show Foxboro' in 2008 or during the show at Giants Night 4 in 2003. The major difference here is that it's been unremitting since yesterday and will be around for some time yet. Winds gusting up to 50mph as well. For once I'm glad we have nosebleed seats outdoors and will be under cover.
