Thanks for that, BTW. I was going to ask if someone could keep an eye out for the tour, as her new album is coming out very soon. October 22nd is a Saturday ... very good. Would love to see MCC (I don't know Shawn).

Thanks for that, BTW. I was going to ask if someone could keep an eye out for the tour, as her new album is coming out very soon. October 22nd is a Saturday ... very good. Would love to see MCC (I don't know Shawn).
You'll enjoy Shawn Colvin, she's also very good. They toured together in 2001, but that time Shawn was billed as a guest whereas this time I believe they're going on together as a duo. Shawn did a longer than average opening set but they both came out during the other's set to do some songs together. They're great friends and the banter between them was entertaining. Saw the shows in York & Manchester that tour, little thinking that it would be nearly 10 years before MCC toured over here again.
That 2010 night at London Barbican was memorable as the night The Promise CDs leaked. Got back to my hotel and managed to listen to a few songs before bed.
I was dreading this tour being arranged for when I was away and sadly that's what has happened.

Agreed, it is a brilliant album, awful cover though.Listening to Ashes and Roses which arrived this week. Wonderful.

That's what I thought when I received it. Looks like a photocopy of an original. The back picture is nice though. I think the songs deserve headphone treatment - there are some sad stories in there.

Not doing very well here. Half term holiday is NOT from October 22nd. It's the following week. Never mind, we'll have dinner out that evening.
