The leaking is disturbing.

Indeed.
The leaking is disturbing.
Is this a comment about JB getting older?

Laurence Tribe and David Rivkin discussed this on NPR today. Neither found the idea of Roberts changing his vote to be unusual or even newsworthy, saying that this happens on a regular basis. However, Tribe was deeply disturbed by the concept that someone "inside" the process of SCOTUS (a clerk, most likely) had talked to the press so close to the issuing of the decision.
Might not have been a clerk, might have been a justice. Crawford is apparently friends with both Thomas and his wife.
Side note - did anyone find this bit of reporting odd?
Some of the conservatives, such as Justice Clarence Thomas, deliberately avoid news articles on the court when issues are pending (and avoid some publications altogether, such as The New York Times). They've explained that they don't want to be influenced by outside opinion or feel pressure from outlets that are perceived as liberal.
No mention of avoiding outlets that are perceived as being conservative...
This last month has changed our lives forever, and we hope it will change yours too. Take care of one another. Be gentle, be compassionate. Be open to letting someone in when it is you who is faltering. Lend your hand. We need it. The world needs it.
With love,
The Tripathi Family
