Hoping for a full band "Fields Of Athenry" this time around.
This Turnpike sure is spooky at night when you're all alone.

LEGENDARY rocker Bruce Springsteen will hit the stage at 7pm tonight — so he won’t be Dancing in the Dark.

Posted Image 0 comment

The Boss, 62, has a strict curfew of 11pm for his sold-out RDS gig to avoid being fined.
Promoters Aiken yesterday advised fans that Bruce will take to the stage at 7pm SHARP — with no support act.
The early kick-off for tonight’s gig comes just days after Bruce and Paul McCartney had the plug pulled on them at London’s Hyde Park for running over time. Planners of the Dublin gig are keen to avoid a repeat — with first-in-the-queue fans Marthe Vannebo and Camilla Henden vowing: “We’ll be on time.”

Heard a bit of E St Shuffle and Spirit from the soundcheck.
Hoping as ever for some ToL stuff, maybe a solo Walk Like A Man but Dublin's normally up tempo so maybe Where The Bands Are, Be True, Sherry Darling and a couple of killers like Stolen Car or Drive All Night
I was sick and tired of everything when I called you last night from Glasgow

Go to Cobblestones - great trad music. Luka Bloom told me once and he was right. Then head up to Bushmills - easy drive up - but make sure you sleep over!

Was there in '09 but couldn't make it this time, I'm a bit jealous I have to say! It seems that the weather is even worse than the 1st night in '09.
