The Official Hope Estate Australia February 23rd Night #2 WinoSetListVision Thread

224 posts in this topic

Sandy on November 1, 2012 at Penn State.

Was lucky enough to be at this one... Had to dodge Hurricane Sandy to get there... my only non Australian show (so far...)

A very moving show coming so soon after the NJ shore had been so badly affected, Bruce was sad but the show was a killer... not only 4th July, Asbury Park NJ and Jersey Girl, but also the first performance ever(?) of Shout, now a semi-regular encore. And a young, crazy college audience... a special memory!

He played it in Denmark in May 2013. I wasn't there but it's one of my favourite videos from the tour.

What a set!!! The question is which show NOT to buy... I can't afford to buy all the Australian shows but he's making me do just that :D

This might just be the best set of this tour so far IMHO.

That last one really made my jaw drop.

Yes! The solo version he pulled out last year in Herning has become my favorite rendition of the song... Lucky, lucky people!!!!

We seem to agree again, Potstan.

I think my visit to Hunter Valley was a year to early.

Very very good, he goes well does this Bruce.

Australia should be very proud from what we've got, and then Brisbane still and our cousins over the ditch to cone.

Sweet :)

Just a few edits here. The "story" in the opener was actually just the first verse of the song, and it was Eric Burdon & War who recorded it, not The Animals. Johnny 99 was also a sign request as well.

02. My Love Will Not Let You Down
03. Death to My Hometown
04. Seeds
05. Out In The Street
06. Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) (sign request)
07. High Hopes
08. Just Like Fire Would
09. Johnny 99 (sign request)
10. Heaven's Wall
11. BRILLIANT DISGUISE
12. Human Touch
13. I'm Goin' Down
14. Pay Me My Money Down
15. Shackled and Drawn
16. Radio Nowhere
17. The Rising
18. The Ghost of Tom Joad
19. Badlands
20. 4TH OF JULY, ASBURY PARK (SANDY)
21. Born In The U.S.A.

You're welcome! Thanks from me to TG for starting the setlisting as well. Just a shame TG had to leave literally right before all the fun started with this one.

Thanks to those faithful setlisters.

Got three baskets of laundry folded while listening to Springsteen radio and checking setlist every few minutes. See you later!

Just wanted to add some flavor to the setlist is all. In the case of the last 2 songs, they really deserved more than just caps to announce they were being played. :)

Right now there's a Swedish woman on the Swedish radio P4 telling about her South Africa concert experience in January. The reporter: Did you really see THREE concerts?!

I did hear it as well
