Well, the show is tomorrow night, and no one else has started it up, so I may as well get the SLV for this show going!

Hershey, Pennsylvania. A town built on chocolate:

I am a chocolate-based form of life. Perhaps I should move there.

Hershey is also home to the wonderful Troegs Brewery, creators of some of the finest non-Euro brews in the colonies.

Troegs Brewery: Taking the State Throoper's liver behind the woodshed since they opened in 1996.

Some of the wonderful local brews to sample while in Hershey include the Dreamweaver.

In the unlikely event there's not a caller already, someone let me know and I'll be happy to send along updates. (I've not had the responsibility since the Philly show that brought us The Price You Pay, but I think I've recovered enough from that shock to take on the task again. :D)

Opening song predictions:

Safe bet: "Give The Girl A Kiss"

Out on a limb: a cover of "I Want Candy" ... segueing nicely into "She's The One"

Another fine area brew, which has just come into season, is the Flying Mouflan barley wine ale. This particular one has led to numerous nights that I can't remember!

And, last, but certainly not least, is their holiday season delight; Mad Elf. It's like drinking a Christmas tree.

Anyone going to the show looking for a pre or post show meal and drinks: The Paxtang Grill on Derry Street (Only 15 minutes from the stadium) is highly recommended.

The food is top-notch.

That's a bit odd looking. Still, I'd go if I could.

Not much to look at, but for the shows I've been there the sound has been surprisingly good.

It looked better in 1978. B)

Reminds me a little of Valle Hovin in Oslo. Although that "stadium" is entirely GA - everyone gets a GA ticket and sits or stands wherever they want once they get there.

That exactly what it is. I believe they play the PA state high school championship games there.

Got any advice on where to park to avoid being stuck in the nightmare of a parking lot after the show?

Best idea I could give you is that there's an outlet center about a mile's walk from the stadium. Aside from that, not really much at all.
