  1. You’re going to have such a great time! I’ll keep an eye out for you, sounds like we’re going to a few of the same films. If you’re still in AP on Sunday I have two free tickets for the Miles Davis film at 12, I won them on Twitter
  2. Tickets for the Light of Day go on sale noon Saturday, Dec.1 through www.ticketmaster.com; Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000; and all Ticketmaster outlets. https://www.app.com/story/entertainment/music/2018/11/29/light-day-asbury-park-ticket-sale-first-wave-performers-announced/2146794002/
  3. In 2015 it was October 31st, from memory it is usually in late October most years so they seem a bit delayed this year. I would keep an eye on FB and Twitter as that seems to get updated more regularly than their website ticket info from LOD 16 Tickets for the Main Event range from $43 to $209.50, and tickets for the other club shows range from Free to $45. Concert goers can purchase a LIGHT OF DAY COMBO TICKET PACKAGE to gain admission to all Asbury Park events (Approximately 50 EVENTS) at five different levels, starting at $159.50. The packages GUARANTEE a reserved seat for BOB’S BIRTHDAY BASH at the Paramount Theatre, along with admission to all shows, capacity permitting, first-come, first-served basis. Ticket prices DO NOT include any fees and/or service/convenience charges.
  4. We always get our tickets from Badlands, it’s so much easier than trying to organise it yourself. Yes it probably works out more expensive but you get everything arranged for you. Their packages include accommodation though so not suitable if you intend staying with friends. A combo ticket gets you into all the shows, there are different price levels but they are basically all the same except for the Saturday night Paramount show. A platinum combo gets you in the first ten or so rows at the Paramount, a t shirt and a goody bag (mostly shampoo and hair products so save room in your suitcase!)
  5. Wow this thread brings back memories. Has it really been 15 years? I went to shows 4,5,6 and 7 of that run.
  6. I saw the October one for sale in a record shop in New York, I think it was 30$
  7. I hope Abbey ‘s treatment goes well. Sending love and strength to Landyman and you and all your family. Ive donated and shared x
  8. Ps very jealous, sounds like an amazing way to spend NYE
  9. NJ Transit haven't published their holiday schedule yet but usually they run a Sunday service on 1st January and I think they put on extra early morning trains too. The North Jersey Coast Line is the one that serves Red Bank.
  10. Some very helpful advice there, I totally forgot to reboot my router but luckily my internet behaved itself. She's quite right, preparation is key when buying tickets
  11. I flew Air India when I was on a tight budget, flight out was perfectly fine, flight home we got upgraded to business class which was fab! Generally speaking, 3 months beforehand is the cheapest time to book but don't miss the BA and Virgin sales. You need to stay a Saturday night to get the cheapest deals and if you are going to be visiting Jersey too, EWR is the most convenient airport ( you can get a train to Asbury Park)
