  1. Cross-posting from BTX. Making my way through it, and it just now hit me that this was one of the few shows on the tour where Long Time Coming wasn’t played. I thought that one was an every-nighter on the tour. I love how Iceman and Incident were made into a medley. Loved the transition chords in between to put the two songs together. Has anybody else observed yet that Devils and Dust is played differently than later in the tour? Here, the strum pattern is more percussive and staccato. In all other released versions, it’s more strummy-flowy. Pull up the song in your music platform and jump back and forth between Tower 2005 and any other 2005 Nugs release, and you’ll see what I’m talking about. It’s interesting to hear things evolve like this.
  2. Yes. Might be a fun game to pass the time - to come up with fake teaser tweets for a show we want to see released and have people guess what it is.
  3. It won’t happen, but I’m hoping for a teaser tweet like this. “This just in - come on up for another archive release this Friday, 9/3. Big things one day come, with a rocker at the end.”
  4. But aren’t there non-radio broadcast shows included in that box already?
  5. Glory Days. Pretty repetitive song musically but very effective. Also Born in the USA. Only two chords. I’m Goin’ Down. Same 4 chords over and over. I’m sensing a theme with the ones I just named
  6. Great post. I’ll add that it takes skill to get good at playing individual notes (because those are some small holes) and bending the pitch, both of which he can do.
  7. Isn’t this Friday a first Friday? Anybody heard anything?
  8. I got vaccine #1 today. I came up with a pun that I think you’ll appreciate. Wish I’d thought of it this morning before I got the shot, so I could have posted it on my Facebook and Instagram. But I’ll use it when I go for my second one on April 15. I’m going to say: Just parked in the lot, waiting for vaccine #2. You can’t start a Pfizer, you can’t start a Pfizer without a park.
  9. Making my way through it finally. I noticed that much of the call and response part (the “meet me out in the street” solos with the band members) in Out in the Street from Live in NYC was taken from this show. Pretty cool discovery.
  10. Pretty sure Erik F made a mistake in his review. He said there are 8 songs on 6/27/00 that are not on 7/1/00. I counted 9. Ties, Adam, Trapped, Factory, Loose Ends, BIYA, Mary, HH, Blinded.
  11. I’m not seeing that there was a 5/8/97 show, on either May 8 or August 5. Edit: looks like you meant 5/18/97. Flynn wasn’t directly responding to that post, even though his comment was right below it. He was quoting an earlier post where somebody made a joke, and he was complimenting the joke. Of course, he also could have been subtly confirming that it is Joad this month. I have entertained that possibility.
  12. The thread title confused me at first. I was like “Didn’t this already come out in 2010?”
  13. I’ve performed here, so this hits close to home.
  14. Thank you for sharing your heart, and I’m sorry about what you’re going through. I lost my dad to COVID-19 3 days ago. This post came at a perfect time for me. I’ll be thinking about you.
  15. Definitely not from Inc (for reasons stated above) just one of the many very well done fan made videos. Either way, it is incredibly well done and looks to be an enjoyable watch from the bits that I’ve sampled.
  16. I guess that answers that. Excellent work, Inspector Holmes. I have some of that so-called “unhealthy” memory myself.
  17. There’s someone on BTX who reminds me of him. Screen name is LeapDay2016, I believe. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same person.
  18. Thanks for this. I didn’t realize they were consistent for two years, then there have been 6 delays in the past year. So, like, since August 2019, they’ve been on time 50% of the time.
  19. I'm still really digging on and hoping for 8/6/84. Would have worked out almost perfectly anniversary-wise if it had come out tomorrow.
  20. I think they considered Atlanta to be the opening night of the WB tour. I was there. It was ok.
  21. Out in the Street is either a hybrid of the last two nights, or 100% from 6/29. I’m thinking it’s the former.
