  4. Most cats in the US are kept indoors either because they are in cities or because of predators. That's fine but declawing them is just downright cruel. Imagine every one of your finger and thumbs being cut off at the top joint.

  8. I guess but to me it's like thanks for letting me win. I've always understood for example soldiers praying because they face danger/death and if they have religious faith its a prayer to keep them safe but in sport it just bugs me. Anyway, rant over. She's a great player and I'm sure a very nice person.
  9. One thing bugs me about Halep (and other sports people who do it), is the seeming need to cross themselves when they win, score a goal etc. I'm not denigrating their religious beliefs but I doubt God favours one opponent over another.

  11. I think its unlikely. I really do love Western Stars, best Bruce album since BITUSA for me. Btw - good shout on Donald Fagen's Nightfly. I would add that to my list too.
  12. I like a-ha. I've seen them twice live and they were great. Their song lyrics are often so much darker than you'd imagine. A good example is I've Been Losing You.
