  1. He was only in the snow for a couple of minutes. No blocks of ice. Lol.
  2. I don’t how the story on these kids but I enjoyed watching their reactions to various songs/bands including Queen.
  3. Springsteen on Broadway was groundbreaking I believe. Not many people making Western Stars type albums or concerts either.
  4. Me, too. I was supposed to see him in Calgary last summer but he had to cancel that one to have a stent installed. He was doing better by the fall, hope it is the same this time around for him.
  5. Come see him in the Dominican in November. It was amazing last year. No full moon for 2020 but still should be fantastic. https://www.allthebestfest.com
  6. I read he had decided on the Rockies. The Kid, Gary Carter, also went in as an Expo I believe.
  7. As a Canadian I had hoped Expos but his best years were with the Rockies so I understand his decision.
  8. ...with some guy name Jeter. Pretty big, exciting news north of the border to see Larry get in on his last year of eligibility and to go in with a legend. No doubt most of the press south of the border will be reserved for #2. That’s ok, he had an amazing, storied career.
  9. George Strait - Las Vegas John Prine - Calgary John Prine Presents All the Best Fest 2020 - Dominican Republic Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band - someplace I hope
  10. I just saw that I can rent Western Stars via my cable provider. Didn’t really expect that, but kind of cool.
  11. Nice to see your name pop up Jerseyfornia. The Lake is a better place when you’re around.

  13. They declared me unfit to live, said into that great void my soul'd be hurled They wanted to know why I did what I did Well sir I guess there's just a meanness in this world
  14. Well she called up her mama to make sure the kids were out of the house She checked herself out in the dining room mirror And undid an extra button on her blouse He felt her lying next to him, the clock said 4:00 am He was staring at the ceiling He couldn't move his hands
  15. Coffee cups on the counter, jackets on the chair Papers on the doorstep, but you're not there Everything is everything Everything is everything But you're missing
  16. The closest theatre showing the film is about 250 miles from me, I think the same one Pregnant Sally is at today. It was well worth the trip. The orchestra adds so much to the songs and the cinematography was truly beautiful. I really enjoyed seeing and hearing Patti and Bruce singing together, too. Bravo Bruce!!
  17. I saw Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit at last year’s Ryman residency. Great show and venue and Nashville is a fun town. If they still have it I’d recommend the bonus package (forget what it was called but came from ticketmaster). You get a couple of drink tickets, poster from the show, snacks, and best of all access to a private washroom.
