  1. Hey, it gave us this great opening line from night 2 - "Adelaide! I thought it was hot yesterday! What the fuck is going on today!??"
  2. From memory, I think it was about 40 degrees Celsius. Maybe a little more.
  3. For me, it's not about the sound. Wrecking Ball is without any doubt one of his best albums. It's about the song - it's not good. And it has nothing to do with my not wanting Bruce to become innovative or modern (no nostalgia here) but I just don't see any point in RE-RECORDING A COVER SONG, which in my opinion is not even good enough to be part of his catalog. As someone else wrote: it's a toilet break song if played live at a show (would rather stay for "Sunny Day" than this). Please don't crucify me but that's how I feel about it. And I'm fully aware that we should be grateful for everything he releases but I'd like to see him put out his own material or a cover we don't yet have a studio recording of (like Trapped). He re-recorded it because HE likes it. I don't think there needs to be any other reason. With that attitude we might as well close the site never mind the thread Why? You can still talk about how much you like or dislike it but if you're wondering why he re-recorded I'm pretty sure that'll be your answer right there.

  5. The Oz Promoter said both of them were coming on the tour. For what it's worth...
  6. I think it's reasonable to say this could be an EP or compilation in time for SA and Oz shows and then a new album in the new year to tour the states and Europe with. It could also be off the new album. The point is, no one knows until it's announced.
  7. http://www.maxtv.com.au/pages/main-menu/news/latest-news/bruce-springsteen-announces-2014-australian-tour
  8. Hmm, this is gonna be a tough one to pull off. I need more time!
  9. Bernard responded to a tweet of mine of twitter last week and he was very cryptic but it sounded positive.
  10. To have a 60 minutes reporter sent to Kilkenny and 2 seperate rumours from different states pop up with roughly the same info makes me think there's something in the works.
  11. So now it looks like we also have an informal confirmation from Molly that Bruce will be back in 2014.
  12. I doubt they would fly a journalist from Aus to Ireland to promote a tour DVD given how little they have marketed precious tour DVDs and we are still waiting for most of the tours to release a DVD.I think Nov/Dec is a bit soon but on the other hand it could make perfect sense for them to do that and then Steve gets to film in Jan/Feb, leaving March/April for the US and then May/June/July for Europe. Bruce made it clear in Kilkenny he was only taking a short break. Who said they would fly a journo over for a DVD release? I'd assume the story would incorporate a DVD release and return visit.
