  1. I have mentioned the Sacramento show on April 9 before as one as it is the first show in the US after the invasion of Iraq.
  2. My first show ever unless somehow they have video of this in which case I want it saved to be the video with the eventual BIUSA box. 1984-10-22 - OAKLAND-ALAMEDA COUNTY COLISEUM ARENA, OAKLAND, CA BORN IN THE U.S.A. / PROVE IT ALL NIGHT / OUT IN THE STREET / ATLANTIC CITY / JOHNNY 99 / NEBRASKA / HIGHWAY PATROLMAN / I'M GOIN' DOWN / DARLINGTON COUNTY / GLORY DAYS / THE PROMISED LAND / SHUT OUT THE LIGHT / DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN / BADLANDS / THUNDER ROAD / HUNGRY HEART / DANCING IN THE DARK / CADILLAC RANCH / SHERRY DARLING / STOLEN CAR / DOWNBOUND TRAIN / I'M ON FIRE / COVER ME / PINK CADILLAC / BOBBY JEAN / ROSALITA (COME OUT TONIGHT) / I'M A ROCKER / STREET FIGHTING MAN / FOLLOW THAT DREAM / BORN TO RUN / DETROIT MEDLEY - TRAVELIN' BAND (9.46) / TWIST AND SHOUT - DO YOU LOVE ME (10.36) / SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN' TO TOWN World premiere of "Shut Out The Light" and the first "Stolen Car" since 1981. Also featured is Bruce dancing with his sister Pamela on stage.
  3. Now they just need to fix the link to the essay.
  4. This could make a good Rising show for two reasons. 1. I was there 2. And probably more importantly, if I remember correctly, first show in the states after the invasion of Iraq. 2003-04-09 - ARCO ARENA, SACRAMENTO, CA Soundcheck: includes DEVILS & DUST BORN IN THE U.S.A. / WHO'LL STOP THE RAIN / NO SURRENDER / THE RISING / LONESOME DAY / THE FUSE / EMPTY SKY / YOU'RE MISSING / WAITIN' ON A SUNNY DAY / THE PROMISED LAND / WORLDS APART / BADLANDS / SHE'S THE ONE / MARY'S PLACE / COUNTIN' ON A MIRACLE / JUNGLELAND / INTO THE FIRE / THUNDER ROAD / RAMROD / BORN TO RUN / MY CITY OF RUINS / LAND OF HOPE AND DREAMS - PEOPLE GET READY / DANCING IN THE DARK / DARLINGTON COUNTY "Born In The U.S.A." is solo acoustic. "Mary's Place" includes "The Monkey Time", "Rescue Me", "Mercy, Mercy", and "Baby, I've Been Missing You". Audience tape. Soundcheck includes the first known appearance of a new Bruce composition that would later be released as the title track of his 2005 album.
  5. Because I am listening to it through the speakers on my phone.
  6. As good as this sounds listening to the Nugs app on my phone I can only imagine how good it is going to sound when I get the CD in the mail.
  7. I am listening to it on my phone right now and not having any issues with the lyrics.
  8. And I have created a bunch of playlists to burn cd's that were 80 minutes so not like I didn't know just a brain cramp. Thank God the weekend is almost here.
  9. Not sure why I was thinking that 70 not 80 was the max. Guess I have not had enough caffeine yet.
  10. I think despite the way it is listed on the site that the length is just a bit too long to make it onto 2 discs.
  11. Since you mention this, one of my big grumbles with releases in general is the way that spoken bits that are intros to one song get put at the end of another. I just picked up the Buffalo 2009 show and it drives me nuts that Bruce talking about how they are doing Restless Nights for Steven is the end of The Promised Land and it happens all the time with lots of artists on videos as well. UGGHH!
  12. I was at both Shoreline shows and while I do like the 22nd set list a little more would love to have the 21st since it was the first concert my older son ever attended. As long as we get an early tour show that has more of the HT/LT material I will be happy. It seems to be that way with some of the more recent tours as well where we get a show later in the tour so most of the new stuff is out of the setlist by then.
