  1. This is made from a photo of the cover. I have the CD version of this Live Series. (format 1985x1811 ... sorry, but ... tried my best)
  2. Welcome. Very nice first post! Taken from his Book, Foreword: Rock ’n’ Roll Survival Kit DNA, natural ability, study of craft, development of and devotion to an aesthetic philosophy, naked desire for . . . fame? . . . love? . . . admiration? . . . attention? . . . women? . . . sex? . . . and oh, yeah . . . a buck. Then . . . if you want to take it all the way out to the end of the night, a furious fire in the hole that just . . . don’t . . . quit . . . burning. These are some of the elements that will come in handy should you come face-to-face with eighty thousand (or eighty) screaming rock ’n’ roll fans who are waiting for you to do your magic trick. Waiting for you to pull something out of your hat, out of thin air, out of this world, something that before the faithful were gathered here today was just a song-fueled rumor. I am here to provide proof of life to that ever elusive, never completely believable “us.” That is my magic trick. And like all good magic tricks, it begins with a setup. So . . . - - - If I'm not mistaken it is the sum of the above. "DNA, natural ability, study of craft .... etc." And The Promise (to himself and his fans) Night after Night after Night to be Alive up There. To me the eighty thousand he is talking about is "Roskilde 2012". A festival where the "furious fire in the hole"-trick unfolded, and a lot of youth experienced the Trick for the first time. It was Magic.
  3. 2016 Rome. Very impressive first song w/strings. Official release is available.
  4. We already got this. https://live.brucespringsteen.net/live-music/0,19238/Bruce-Springsteen---The-E-Street-Band-mp3-flac-download-11-19-2007-TD-Banknorth-Garden-Boston-MA.html Tracy Vale: Last full show with the "classic" lineup from 1975 onward makes this one a MUST HAVE -- especially for those who love the Magic album and it's orchestral rock / pop songs. Only missing "You'll be Coming Down" -- which Max called one of his favorites songs.
  5. You Rock! Thank you. Thank you, Thank you. Saved this in a rtf document! Volume 14 saved to HDD. My newest radio bootleg. Maybe some day we will love this as we love the '78 radio shows.
  6. Really? He just told you. So very well, so great done. Thank You, Bruce. Thank You. Where have all my Bruce friend gone? So silent in here? This great Volume 14. The best until now. We are not allow to be political? But we can still tribute our hero? I hope. Vote 'em Out.
  7. Recommended reading: https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2018/07/20/retro-e-street-review-november-5th-1980-tempe-az/ I'm sure you'll have a great evening. Don't pause it, so prepare yourself. A cold beer is okay.
  8. These Boxsets add so much to his work. The music on CDs and DVDs/Blurays, but also a look at his notebooks, the comments to the lyrics, the endless setlists and outtake decisions, unreleased music, the tape covers, some great photos, etc. And later getting his book and his own version of growing up and starting the bands. And every month we get a "The Archive Series"-release, and new great info in here. It is good times to be a Bruce fan. - - - You know this Darkness Boxset, I hope? If not ... you better go back in the candy store. [2010] Unboxing the new Bruce Springsteen Darkness on the Edge of Town Boxset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ezTPIaLfEQ Yes. I remember the feeling of unboxing these treasures. And the first time I saw the 'Tempe 1980' bluray on my big screen and very loud. Hope we will have a "Born in The USA" Boxset in the near future.
  9. http://jungleland.dnsalias.com/torrents-details.php?id=28687 This is a Gold Torrent; if you have been registered on Jungleland for over 3 month and have a ratio > 1 then your downloaded bytes for this torrent will not be charged to your ratio, but uploads will be!! Your ratio will not be hurted but improved. Most likely where I got it from.
  10. Files found on an old USB drive ... "1985-06-29 Breathless In Paris - Uber Series Volume 07" I dont remember how they landed on my disc. Just saved 'em. Don't remember that I have ever seen them from start to finish. "... part of TattooDad's ... and may only be traded for free." But nice covers added :-) - - - Just discovered that : It has 3 audio tracks to select from .... you dont get that on YouTube :-)) Audio Track 1: SBD/AUD MIX DD5.1 Track 2: SBD/AUD MIX DD2.0 Track 3: SBD DD2.0 (audio untouched) - - - Audio is volume 7, DVD is volume 2 I guess ... https://www.spl-messages.net/topic/uber-project-lost-and-found---updated-october-9 And, running concurrently, because they're already in the above tally: DVD UBER Vol. 1 - Verona '93 *PRO-SHOT* "A Gentleman Of Verona (HOJO) DVD UBER Vol. 2 - Paris '85 *PRO-SHOT* "Breathless In Paris" (Digi-TOx) DVD UBER Vol. 3 - Stockholm '93 *PRO-SHOT* "The Lost TV Special" (RCR) Paris 1985.06.29 Uber Series Vol7 Info.txt
  11. Yes. Love it and I've had my share of their great offerings, and even uploaded one or two. But to me the above postings sounded as if policy had changed. Maybe I should reread it and I'll understand it. Thx.
  12. I'm confused, Sorry. Is here anyone who can summarize the facts about bootlegs. Has policy changed? What is allowed? Talk about ..., inquiries about ..., offers of ..., free trading of ..., etc. Thanks in advance.
  13. Nope. Sorry, I will not :-)) Thank you. And I'm so pleased to see that it (Belfast 1996) is a 7,5 now. The acoustic Bruce - I need more from 1996-97. Sydney? Earls Court London? Bring it on ...
  14. Thank you very much. I'm not sure how to put it, but this month's release could have been chosen because "Streets of Philadelphia" is there? Or? After all, there is some sort of link between the Covid-19 pandemic and AIDS in the sense that a group of people are affected by a deadly disease. That was my first thought when I saw that "Streets of Philadelphia" was on the Archive of the Month. You mention it with Murder Inc.: ..., I think we can look at the release of this song performance from twenty years ago as one instance of Bruce Springsteen making a statement on the injustices in his country in 2020: “In the States we got a whole… part of our population, that lives and dreams are sort of deemed expendable. We got murder incorporated. ” AIDS and Covid-19 - deadly diseases that affects a group of people the hardest. Well, that is probably just me - with the best unpolitical intentions. Your reviews add so much to these releases, musically and put in time perspective. Thank you.
  15. So nice. Sounds like a very great compilation to me. Thanks for leaving out Santa, 10th and Sunny Day Kid. Can I have your setlist of the above and with the dates of each song. As on a Cover/back text. Or maybe it is not Live Archive stuff?
  16. Thank you. The only review needed of The Archive Series. "And with an audience marvelling at everything Springsteen does and ensuring their contributions to the show enhance it as well as motivate him, this is a wonderful example as to why Springsteen and Sweden are such a good fit. All of these aspects combine to create the best Devils & Dust Archive Series release to date." I am a little unsure of your opinion on the solo/acoustic Bruce, but very glad to read this review. Maybe a matter of age. The older you get ... And. Please let there be more TGOTJ Tour releases, too! (Anytime I revisit "St. Rose of Lima Gym" - I rate it as a 10. :-)) This is the earliest D&D show released. Two months after the tour started, and one of the last european shows of that tour. We were adviced - in writing on the day and by email - to be silent and not to clap along.
  17. The Archive Series - releases where a Full Album start-to-finish was played? 11-22-09 HSBC Arena, Buffalo, NY - the first and only full performance of Springsteen’s debut album, Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ 11-08-09 Madison Square Garden, New York, NY - Full album performance of The River (first ever) 10-20-09 Wachovia Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA - Full album performance of Born in the U.S.A. 12-31-75 Tower Theater, Upper Darby, PA - It’s nearly a full Born to Run show, as seven of the album’s eight tracks are performed out of sequence Correct me, please. Missing ? * Born to Run (2009) * The Wild, the Innocent ... (2009) * Darkness (06-15-2013)
  18. Agree! SOB - Something is missing. Feels a little empty. Live in NYC2000 - Strange compilation, not a good concert movie. London Calling - A little better. Tempe 1980 - This is the best. I really love it. And it is 40 years ago .....
  19. The Archive Series. OMG ... and more on the way .... What was the latest bootleg you listened to. Not that I've deleted mine. (I would buy "Barcelona Live" again if it came on bluray in 1080p.) Thanks to Paolo's reviews :
  20. I have been a bootlegs collector since the era of the famous FTP server (Stone Pony London). Very great times. Most bootlegs from way back have a name/title. Some titles have good information (Naughty & Nice), others are not so inspiring (Copenhagen Rain). When I read Kieran's reviews I try to think of a name to put on that given date/concert. Example: "Jake's first Jungleland" is a better title than Goteborg 2012. "Danny Federici’s final full-time show with the E Street Band" is better than Boston 2007-11-19 My Archive series is now a lot of folders named by date (yyyy-mm-dd), arena and city. I would love if they also had names of what is special to that given night. - - - Is it an impossible mission? Attached is my notes. Based mostly on Paolo's reviews. How do you keep track of your collection, and choose which one to listen to? The Live Archive Series - Headlines.xlsx
  21. Thank You, Bruce. I really needed to hear that from you. Setlist: (Wonder why I liked the Billie Holiday choice the most. Why is that song needed in 2020?)
  22. ... edited post Just cannot believe the news these days. We are certainly not Living in the future. Seems more like 1939 to me. Yes. "What's Goin' On" is a very good question.
  23. http://aceartanddesign.com/index.php/blog/ Nice blog. Read the September 16 2019. These great photographers deserves a tribute. Thank you for the great concert pictures making memories for us.
