  1. The one of Bruce sitting in the garden with the guitar is one of the nicest I've seen of him, very relaxed and happy looking.
  2. wrong hand but he looks like someone showing off an engagement ring. yes bruce, its a lovely ring!
  3. He looks amazing. He really loves the beach doesnt he?! Awesome topic by the way.
  4. Yes it was really emotional. Because he is older but we are older too. I was in my late teens when I first heard Bruce and became a fan and in my twenties the first time I saw him live so to see him now when I am middle aged and he is freaking nearly 64 yrs old is kind of strange in a sweet way plus we have lost so many people along the way. So I cried a lot during This Hard Land and part of that was thinking how it might be if I never got to see him again..It means a lot to him and to us older fans I think because this is kind of coming to an end in some ways whereas when we were all twenty years old it was like we were all going on forever and ever although we thought 30 was the end of life as we knew it, wow, id love to have seen him throughout the years like you have.It must be quite something, following him this long. It must be very satisfying as well that after all these years hes still playing epic concerts and making fantastic music. So many people burn out or fade away but not Bruce!
  5. SOUNDS GOOD!!! - could mean Jake only as well for the tour (no horn section) - a new album / tour / sound / approach......keeps it fresh for Bruce & band.......good news! Except the horn section were recording in Aus not just Jake. I think they will stay because Bruce will want them. A recent interview from either Steve or Garry said Bruce wanted a band that could cover everything from folk/acoustic to straight out rock...in general that is. BETTER STILL!!! as I love the horns (and would like to hear MORE of them) - sounding even better then! This sounds so exciting! The stage is really full already so adding Morello and possibly patti coming back?WOW.There wont be a song they cant play with that many people on stage!
  6. I know. I don't think I have properly unpacked from Kilkenny yet.... The Last Dance... Must have been quite a moment to hear his speeh in Kilkenny, "The older you get the more it means...." Iim not going to get my hopes up cos I just cant afford to go crazy so maybe 2 concerts again next year.A little more spaced out though to make it last longer!Limerick on tuesday and cork on thursday was great but it was over so quick and then nothing! The Iirsh dates were very close together.I would have liked to have maybe gone to belfast. I cried during This Hard Land.......a lot...I sniffed a bit during Sprit but happy tears when he said we'll be back cos I knew he meant soon. you have been following him so long that it must be emotional, you know?I was welling up watching it on youtube so could imagine being there!Limerick was my second, it was four years after my first. He walked out for the pre-show, I lost it.Could not believe he was there!Spilled half my beer from shaking. hes something special thats for sure.

  8. This is so damn exciting. You'd swear I was going to Australia! So must buy tracks in September, possible new album in October and tickets in November?!God help me. Im not going to get my hopes up cos I just cant afford many concerts.maybe two again next year.
  9. Bruce only played Hard Rock to get HRC/Live Nation out of trouble after their deal with the Stones fell through and they had no one else lined up. yes and they paid him back with crappy sound and lousy camera work. Because the demand is there. This Springsteen fella is pretty popular these days. I wonder did he ever think he would be this popular approaching his 64th birthday?!He was always very popular I know but something really amazing happened around the time of the rising and ever since.A new lease of life, new inspiration, hes looking fantastic,he looks so happy on stage.its just fabulous.
  10. You say how much does he think we earn but then suggest tour end of 2014 AND summer 2015?!That would bankrupt me, couldnt do it.But think I'm right in saying that's how it worked with new album tours in the past. I remember my buddy going to see The Rising at Wembley Arena quite late one year, then we went together to Crystal Palace the following Summer. I think with Magic there was a Winter O2 show and then I saw him at Emirates the following Summer. You're being a little unfair to my intelligence there. I also think it's too soon for Europe when he's not played the States for a while. Again, based on the past, there's normally two legs in the US for a new album isn't there. It's not that I don't want more Europe dates, although I can't afford it at the mo, I'm just thinking about the past. didnt mean to insult you at all.I read your comment as meaning two mini tours rather than summer 2014?To me, that would be very tempting but couldnt afford to both but I supoose could do one show at end of year and one or two in sumer....We will have to see what happens!Exciting times again! Sorry again.Lets get back to Bruce and being happy at all the rumours!
  11. Maybe or start the new tour in the place where they recorded it?

  13. It was only a blog moaning but I do think he would go back there before coming to Europe so March/April maybe. very exciting. My sister said shes going to see him in America whenever he announces dates so looks like she will get her wish next Spring!
  14. he only finished up July 28 and now we are reading new tour dates and have people asking for advice/where to book etc!Exciting times again!
  15. American dates would have to be announced around October for shows in March/April?There seems to be a bit of a backlash from fans, there was some article asking if Bruce should acknowledge ithe fact he didnt play any dates this year. Id love to see him in New Jersey/New York but I dont think that will happen for me next year. Hopefully another year!
  16. Less than this time and same with Ireland. I think we will see Barcelona and Madrid come back into play and probably a couple more Spanish gigs. You think?I was thinking Ireland and England got very lucky this year and Italy as well really so as you said, probably Spains time next year! They got lucky after the Spanish promoter said they could only do one gig rather than the 5/6 they had planned. The tour needed to do the same amount of gigs to make the money they budgeted so they scrabbled around sticking in dates anywhere they could. The UK and Ireland benefited from that the most. I agree. I think the UK/Ireland got more shows really than it could handle. Hard Rock Calling/Coventry weren't sold out I don't think. I think all the shows were sold out in Ireland?I think the demand was there.Obviously many fans travelled from around the world and many went to more than 1 concert but Bruce did very well in Ireland. Not many could sell out five concerts in such a small country.I would just doubt it ever happening again.I think another counrty will get lucky next year, probably Spain.

Interesting. We cant really complain if we only get 1 or 2 next year, we were spoiled this year!

  19. I still feel nothing will happen next year, in Europe.Good for you Australia and fingers crossed New Zealand...I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce has been stung by criticism of his lack of US shows and is aiming to remedy that early next year or later this year. I also get the impression the Oz shows were a done deal and maybe a short US leg is in the offing after the US fans response?! However, I'm hoping for a 2015 tour from a coffers point of view, but would adapt if they're back next year... and besides Casino Nancy is usually right. I agree with the US announcement and I would think that may come out in Oct to coincide with new album news if he is doing some sheds between March/April. Sadly I don't think he will be back in the 'Diff next year but I would love to be wrong about thatCome on......show a little faith!!! What did you tell me yesterday, you love an optimist!!!, join the ranks ha! - if he comes back to Europe in the fall (like I'm holding out for ha!) then OF COURSE he will be back in Cardiff!!!........I do not foresee any future UK touring that does not include Cardiff from this point on, simple, so the only way he won't be back in Cardiff is if he isn't over here in 2014(which I know is your point but I'm turning a deaf ear to that notion as you know! ha!) Remember, "we'll be seein' ya!" ........all that is to be questioned is WHEN??? Cardiff looked amazing, he looked like he had a ball.I would say he would return after such a fantastic concert. He should drop hard Rock calling and make room for more Cardiff shows! 5 shows in Ireland this year, I wonder wiill we get maybe two next year(Dublin/Belfast)?Spain got one this year for instance so he might focus on doing more concerts there maybe?I dont think he could only do one in Ireland.
  20. Maybe i think it depends where the kids are and what they are doing. She has mostly been in Europe this year with Jessica and meeting up with Bruce in between gigs. I don't think she is that bothered being on stage anymore. Ya, you get that impression alright.Only 19 out of 128 concerts, her worst showing yet?Fair play to her though, she really put her kids first. I havent seen her with the band so I would like to hear a duet like Human touch, tougher than the rest etc.
  21. Hes there for most of February and start of March so I wonder will Patti resume touring with the band?New tour, possibly new album so she might start again?
  22. Maybe reunite with the band end of august/start of september to finish some album stuff before they go to South America? Album could be out mid/late October/November which will coincide with new tour dates for Europe and America. Couple of appearances on Jimmy Fallon and the like for publicity. Everything kicks off in Perth in Feb for another fantastic year of Bruce!
  23. So Australia in feb, maybe America April/May, Europe in the summer, back to America?
