  1. Thanks for checking it out! That's a fair point in regards to Reagan, although I'll stand by what I wrote because surely a politician is always looking for every single vote from every single person. Not to turn this into a discussion on politics, of course, I'd bore myself out of my own thread hahaha!
  2. Don't jinx it, Daisey, otherwise I'll end up running out of the ones I've already got written!
  3. This week's River Tour 2016 review transports us into what should have been the second night of the tour inside MSG. If only it wasn't for that damn Storm Winter Jonas! https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2021/09/22/bruce-springsteen-live-downloads-review-january-27th-2016-new-york-ny-madison-square-garden/
  4. Sorry I didn't see this. Dallas is a canny few plays away yet, but hopefully I'll get to it sooner rather than later. Although I'm tempted to say the opposite where it concerns hearing those shenanigans hahaha.
  5. A little Saturday update/bump, with Upper Darby 2005 and Pittsburgh and Chicago '16 added to this ongoing list. MSG #1 2016 coming up in the next week!
  6. "Chicago! My kind of town!" https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2021/09/15/bruce-springsteen-live-downloads-review-january-19th-2016-chicago-il-united-center/
  7. Having read this and other things said about him on here this weekend and over the years, Rich seemed like the soundest, funniest Springsteen fan of all time. I know for sure it would have been class to have talked with him on here.
  8. Thanks Daisey, glad you liked it! I was only four years old in 2001 and have no memory of the day, so I can't speak for that feeling of dread at the time, but I will add to your thoughts, prayers, love and whatever else is possible to everyone impacted by it. "We'll meet and live and love again."
  9. Completely agree with every word mate. I'm sharing this in the usual places, and I'll just hoy it in this reply. I wrote a few words on this appearance. https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2021/09/11/e-street-review-bruce-springsteen-performs-at-the-9-11-memorial-in-new-york-city/
  10. I love how much Bruce values "I'll See You in My Dreams". Where a selection of fans aren't a fan of its simplistic lyrics, Bruce clearly believes that it's one of his most important pieces of work. Class.
  11. I mean, it's later in the week now than it was yesterday... Pittsburgh #1 2016, let's dive on into The River! https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2021/09/09/bruce-springsteen-live-downloads-review-january-16th-2016-pittsburgh-pa-consol-energy-center/
  12. This is the question. If Stevie's gonna be in Sun'land's Waterstones, I'm not missing out on that.
  13. So, here's Tower Theatre 2005, and I also wanted to say that my review of January 16th, 2016 will be up later in the week. We're going down to The River Tour, folks, let's hope it's an enjoyable journey! https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2021/09/04/new-from-the-springsteen-archive-may-17th-2005-upper-darby-pa-tower-theatre/
  14. Thank you! I have to say, If my writing can sway Promise, then maybe I should stop being so humble about these things
  15. Here's a review, I hope you all enjoy it! https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2021/09/04/new-from-the-springsteen-archive-may-17th-2005-upper-darby-pa-tower-theatre/
  16. sigh I think the info below is correct, but does it really matter?
  17. This is pretty much spot on. I think I stopped in August 2020, but for those who are still unsure as to when these things go live on the Live site...
  18. Spotlight today is on a show I haven't reviewed in full (yet) but one I've cited as one of the very best of 2016, and one of my all time favourite Springsteen shows: MetLife #3 https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2018/08/23/the-best-of-the-river-tour-2016-17-august-to-september-2016/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7CqlsvAN2M
  19. Not the most necessary post in the world, but I never included the artwork I used in this post - and seeing as @lilbud's efforts should be spotlighted, here's his restoration
  20. The fourth of my special retro reviews is now up to read, and it's one of the most loved boots of the Born in the U.S.A. World Tour. Next week I'm hoping to be writing about Archive #71, and the week after that we'll jump into The River Tour 2016, but until then it's all about those roses in the Kansas City rain. https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2021/08/27/retro-e-street-review-november-19th-1984-kansas-city-mo-kemper-arena/
  21. Good point. Honestly I said that as it seemed to differ to the rest of the tone within the thread. Personally, I don't want this to drift into a discussion of the war itself.
  22. So this is a bit of a random one, but for the last three years I've been bothered by my review of November 19th, 2007. I've always felt it was overly short and not informative enough, and for a long time considered writing something like a new "Archive revisited" post about it and publishing it. I haven't done that, but today I settled on just doing a little editing of what I wrote in April 2018. I've intertwined a few excerpts I included in my definitive songs posts and cleaned up the structuring to hopefully make it a more interesting, time worthy read. I know one goal of this blogging was to get better at writing and look back on older posts to see just how much I'd improved, but without wanting to sound big-headed, I feel these Archive Series reviews have become 'more' than just a vehicle for me to see if I've become a better writer. I hope you enjoy this, if it's of interest to you tonight, and I'll be back... tomorrow with a new Retro E Street Review. https://cantfindtickets.wordpress.com/2018/04/06/new-from-the-springsteen-archive-boston-november-19th-2007/
