  2. this wouldn't be so bad if they were in active communication with us about what's happening
  3. I mean yeah, I called for MSG 1 2009 for a good long while despite the cries of "they don't have it". Here's hoping for main point 75 on friday
  4. I feel like there could definitely be some volume adjustments necessary. The verses sound fine but when it chorus comes in (especially around 1:51 "the dice was loaded from the start") it gets uncomfortably loud IMO. I'm not sure if it was like that live or not.
  5. I tried this a few times, different things happened each time. Passaic 19th Prove It - Actually lined up pretty nicely. Passaic 19th Badlands - Drifted out of sync pretty quickly LA 85 - Stand on It and Janey - Also worked pretty well, barring a small skip in the video for some reason after editing (there is a noticeable drop out when the track switches to stand on it)
  6. Some that come to mind 1977-02-22 - NTL Volume 3 1980-10-24 - That Old 80 Sound 1981-07-15 - Spectrum (Buckshot Tape) 1984-07-12 - Alpine Valley Pitch Corrected 1984-10-21 - New Sound of 84 1984-10-22 - What Pulls People Apart I would say all of the Japan 85 shows mjk5510 transferred, of the bits I've heard they all sound great. 1985-08-09 - Chicago 2008-07-05 - Ullevi 2012-08-15 - Fenway 2
  7. I think I'd cry if they actually released Wembley 02. It's been a running 'J'oke for so long on this site that I kinda don't want it to be released purely to keep the joke alive.
  8. That sounds like a great concert, Brothers in Arms is one of my favorite albums and this show is heavy on the material from that album
  9. Finishing up the show now, I'm truly impressed at how much of an upgrade this is over existing tapes (Wembley Belongs to Us and the Alt Tape). Cover Me into Dancing is one of the best I've heard. Reminds me of your Tempe 84 tape from a little bit ago, quality wise.
  10. Not sure how much legitimacy there is to it. But JEMS mentioned off hand that Mike Millard taped another show at the LA 81 stand that was (paraphrasing here) "recorded much better by Mark Persic". They released the 8/23 show, I secretly hope there is a Millard Vets tape out there.
  11. Watch them release literally every Wembley show they have *except* 2002
  12. Probably not, but I wonder if it rely on if they officially release this new run its kinda like a directors cut
  13. That was a disappointing one for me too, it got delayed the First Friday at noon on the dot. Literally the last possible second. To say my expectations were raised a bit would be underselling it
  14. I spent the last few days compiling all of the archive series covers into one place. All original res (1500/1600px) covers. Either from my collection or by asking around. https://github.com/lilbud/springsteen-archive-covers/releases/tag/1.1 I got all the first friday releases and all the 2016/17 covers in high resolution. 2014 is still mostly 800x800 pixels, but I'm working on that. Just click "source code (zip)" and you'll download all the covers sorted by year.
  15. I'm working on collecting full scale copies of all the archive show covers (1500 or 1600px) Could someone extract the cover for 2016-04-05 - Dallas? It's the last one I need for 2016. Thanks in advance
  16. I just assume "delay" actually means "next friday" I doubt we'll get a release before next wednesday
  17. yeah, it actually kinda weird the complete and total radio silence. Usually we'd get some form of communication from Backstreets or Nugs, but it seems that either everyone is in the dark or something happened very last minute. But like: Jim Rotolo said nothing and just played a TOL show as if nothing was unusual, nothing on any of the socials either.
  18. Where? All i'm seeing on their socials is Bob Weir stuff. Cool, if its cancelled tell us what it was
  19. It could be either really, I don't think they're allowed to say other than yes or no an archive is releasing. I mean, by now they know because they have to have a review prepped
  20. I would definitely see the Nebraska and BITUSA box sets being one box set. Since quite a bit of BITUSA got its start during the nebraska sessions
  21. I think if we actually ever get Wembley 02 you are legally banned from complaining about it
  22. In todays episode of "what the hell?" news
  23. I know the 'Street Fighting Man' clue was solved correctly (1984-08-06), Night Train clue (1978-09-30), Disco shoes but UK sizing is different, 70s and a UK show (Hammersmith 2) Those 3 are just off the top of my head
  24. well they already told me "that wasn't a hint"
  25. How is it that they run down to the wire on these releases so often? like every time there was a delay it's only ever a day or 2 before the release. It's never like a week or 2 out from release. You'd think that they'd start working on these further in advance
