  1. Hi, girls and guys. Could anyone upload the DS version of 1978 05 27? Thanks in advance.
  2. I do like the anthemic sounding chorus - musically, not the lyrics as much in this case - Bruce wrote much better ones before and after this one. The guitarwork by Steve is great in that section of the song live. The verse melody is rather lame - something bothered me about it for years and then it dawned on me that the vocal melody mostly copies the melody of KIss I was made for loving you (the chorus part) although in a much slower tempo. Probably the only time I prefer a Kiss song to Bruce ( and I am not even a Kiss fan).. I ought a greatest hits about 20 years ago when I was in my teens and I hardly ever listen to it.
  3. Hi, could anyone upload the covers for the Scrapbbok with pictures sets from JL? I would be interested in some of these, but I get no connection and the only cover I can see is of the first disc. Also, if anyone could then upload one or two of these I might like, I would be very thankful. Also going to upload some dvds on here via wetransfer myself.
  4. YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks
  5. Hi, guys. two special requests: Can anyone seed two torrents on JL for me? I get no connection to them although it shows four seeders- problems with seeders and or firewall. Thanks in advance! it is the 2009 10 02 East Rutherford dvds - CBG series Or any free form of upload . Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi, guys. Could anyone upload the the video of the 2016 Munich show? Preferably as a dvd, but another format will do as well - not blu ray. Thanks.
  7. Hi, a few requests: 1978 06 03 (Fanatic records ) - my version has a faulty track 207, it will not play. - Thanks. Any post 78 show where Bruce plays more guitar solos than usual on the tour - not the Darkness album shows., looking for a few more unique tracks / arrangements. As I am not an expert, or completist, I mhave surely missed some unusjuual shows that have more soloing.
  8. Hi, Could anyone upload the 2017 04 21 show? Full or not. Thanks.
  9. Hi, guys and girls, looking for these shows: 1993 03 23 Red Bank 1992 - 1993 USA Blues (Crystal Cat) Thanks in advance!
  10. Thanks, I did not express myself well nough. I know about those, I meant from the later periods - sorry for the misunderstanding. I changed my original post.
  11. From what I have read and picrtures I have seen I know that early on - including Steel Mill Bruce played a Les Paul and in 1972 or 1973? switched to the Telecaster . Are there any later, post Steel Mill shows (including ones on bootlegs)where he played a Les Paul or any other model than the Telecaster? Thanks for the info.
  12. Again, just my two eurocents of an outsider looking in , I studied English and read a lot about the US. To me, I understand the American dream as - if you work hard enough , you can achieve anything you want, as the US is seen as the land of ultimate opportunity. That is a myth of sorts, because your work is not enough - a lot depends on your background and social conditions including, (but not limited to) genetic predispositions and nurture of talent, skin color, social class and luck. Hard work alone does not ensure you anything. If you have good enough connections, you can make it - not only in the US, but anywhere. But for 99 percent of the people in US or anywhere else, hard work is a prerequisite for success, but still not the golden key to it. .l. I do think the pressure to be succesful, to achieve the dream is much stronger in the US then elsewhere, even if it is only implicit. America is a vast landscape and so, to me the condradictions, or extremes we see are bigger than in most other places, both in positive and negative ways. What one finds positive and negative, or the degree to which he /she qualifies it as such, is always a mix of objective and subjective on the side of the viewer. I love Bruce s music because as I said earlier, it connects with me emotionally and as art. If it was mostly or only a sociological fascination with what he represents in his work, then I would have to like all American made music, as it represents "another piece of the puzzle". The claims he made in the interview are mostly sociological and do not address the individuality of art and the artist - the ability of it to transcend time and space. If it was all about the "myth", then Europeans would have to love Hank Williams even more or at least as much as ruce, as he embodies many of the archetypes we associate with the US even stronger. Yet, he is not nearly as popular. Same goes for such different artists Johnny Cash or Sinatra, and I could go on....
