So where that lands so far is  ---

    Bruce Springsteen - 2012-06-10 - Firenze, IT (Audience FLAC)   = biccio59

Duke version = biccio59 as both of these seem to have come from an Edirol RH09

Virgin vinyl is the same biccio59 from the Edirol RH09

Telecaster came from an M Audio microtrack

Earlmv is a DVD rip ...I'm assuming  FedeUd  but no idea what other video is out there or the audio source

Godfather seems to be a different source but hard to tell offhand

Bickle - can't find that anywhere to compare

and then the sprinkling of patched in tracks here and there to round out whatever wherever

it's interesting but good grief it's a lot of work sorting it all out - I've been cleaning up my own files only to discover I have xxxx copies ot the exact same thing with mixed up info files or nuanced naming conventions.

Well, seems like the ongoing mystery is fully covered.............. as for the rest...............

    Thanks for checking it out!

That's a fair point in regards to Reagan, although I'll stand by what I wrote because surely a politician is always looking for every single vote from every single person.

Not to turn this into a discussion on politics, of course, I'd bore myself out of my own thread hahaha!

Nothing to see here, move along, move along .........................

new remaster of never-before-circulated masters, first time the complete show circulates

This time thanks to Ivan F for the US transfers so the tapes didn't have to go far, just ~40 miles or so down I-95 (seems fitting ;)). And special thanks as ever to hrubesh for the love and attention to the remastering, and to the artwork he makes, tracking down pictures, etc. As always, if you like it, praise him publicly, please, and if you don't, then blame me for providing an inadequate raw source to work with.

But ... I think you'll like it ;) The HD is sublime

and the DREAM TEAM strikes again................. just one word............... FANTASTIC,   oops and 2 more THANK YOU xx

36 years ago, Wembley night 3, the finale

Here is the remaster, in both 16/44 and 24/96. I'm told that it is a significant improvement on the prior sources in circulation, from someone who was there for his first show. Those tend to be people with a special interest in the recordings, as first shows are so memorable, so I trust the comment. As with all my recordings, my hope is that is it good enough to bring back the experience of being there for those lucky enough to have been there the first time. Or to give a new listener the sense of what that show was like, capturing the performance and the crowd so that, if you close your eyes and listen, you will feel like you are there in the moment.

Hrubesh used his considerable skills to bring this recording to life, so if you like it praise him, and please do so publicly here - all I did was make the initial raw recording. He also did the artwork in the downloads, which really POPS! We also had the benefit of hobbes4444 here in the US doing the transfers of my masters to raw digital files, so that the tapes themselves didn't have to endure international travel and various postal organizations. My deep thanks to both of them for their efforts in making this possible. I sat on these recordings long enough - I'm glad they are free for everyone to enjoy!

As usual, links will be good for a week.

Just a sample of the artwork

Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic, fantastic Jim does it again (supported by hobbes4444 and hrubesh), well done all and thank you xx

Yup.  I can remember hearing Boston Breaker (that vinyl boot, one of the Boston shows) for the first time in the early 80’s.  I hate audience boots but that show...wow.   ‘77 was something indeed.

Springsteen has been legendary forever    ‘74, ‘75  (where is that pristine sounding Bottom Line box set, dammit)  and every year since.

we are all, I believe, fortunate to have seen the guy at all, anywhere, anytime

why the hate of audience boots ??

You say that like that's a fact... You say that like Working On A Dream does not exist... You say that like High Hopes was never released... You say that like it's objective when it's all just a subjective opinion.... You say that like you're not wrong, which you are!

there is no right or wrong, there is just opinion and at the end of the day opinion is fiction not fact........ well something like that i think xx
