  1. Moving performance, perfect song choice, appropriate dress and demeanor. Class act.
  2. I have been chasing "Incident" for over 40 years. I did manage to hear a (magnificent) piano version to open one of those legendary Christmas Shows in Asbury Park, but have never seen full band. Ahhh, someday...
  3. Hi --- Haven't posted in a while, but I wanted to share something. I've been riding my Peloton ever since the pandemic began and have really enjoyed the workouts. One thing I have not liked, however, is the lack of Bruce music on any rides. That is, until last week. Jenn Sherman, one of the instructors, was doing a 60 minute ride. About a third of the way through, Jungleland came on. Jenn got emotional (yes, she had chosen the song and knew it was coming), but it was the first time that any Bruce song ever appeared in a Peloton ride. Her reaction, if you have Peloton, was truly special. She was so respectful of the song and of Bruce. It was really, as I said in the title of this thread, an incredible moment. Did anyone else see it? Thanks... and I hope you are all well. BillsBruce
  4. You are right, @misadventure. The third "B" was for his Bonaventure. It was not Buffalo, as I put in my post. Rest In Peace, bbb.
  5. I am so very sorry to hear this. I had the pleasure of meeting Tim at several shows in Buffalo. His "B's" were Bills, Bruce, and Buffalo. Clearly, we shared some similar passions. If his family is reading this, again, I am so very sorry.
  6. Such fun times to remember... Shows 2, 7, and 10 for me. Whoopi Goldberg sat behind me at show number 7. I brought my then 10-year-old son with me to show number 2... He's 27 now. Scary!
  7. I found this strangely fascinating, to be honest. Hearing Thunder Road for the first time...
  8. Hi Lisa: Yes... seems like a million years ago sometimes!
  9. Good memories.... Great Bruce shows, and the early days of GL. I loved signing that banner and meeting so many of you at those shows!
  10. Nice post, bbb. I was fortunate enough to meet him once before a show. Good man.
  11. Very excited about this release. Saw Bruce in Buffalo on that same tour, later that month. Opened with what became "Something in the Night"... can't wait to hear it again, 40 years down the road!
  12. Thank you. Making me think of the old days at the Lake, of Mark, of the good people here...
  13. Hi --- As a long time contributor here at Greasy Lake (but not as much lately), I remember Miami MArk very fondly... always, always an interesting contributor. I loved reading his posts. I had the opportunity to meet him on a few occasions at Bruce shows, and found him to be a great guy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and I send my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Bob (BillsBruce)
  14. Kev: I didn't want you to think I had fallen off the face of the earth. With Ben in college now, and my old email not working, I did not get in the pool. I hope it's a great year! Here's a better email for me: rmccrone@liverpool.k12.ny.us Go Bills .... Go Pack! (Both look good!) :)

  15. Thinking of you and wishing you good health.

    Bob (BillsBruce)
