  1. The July release was the first I have bought in a while, in fact since I got a new MacBook computer. So I have the files on my laptop, but no longer synch my I phone to computer - it’s a different connection now. I air dropped the files from computer to phone but they don’t show up in i-tunes (or Apple Music, not sure if i-tunes is still a thing). I can play the show through Nugs app, but it keeps asking me to sign up for subscription which I am not going to do. I want to listen on phone while running or whatever but have to be in wi fi connection for that to work? Very frustrating. Am I missing something obvious here? And ‘my stash’ in nugs seems to have gone
  2. Listening now, really enjoying this. Maybe it’s the Irish heatwave but this is kind of a great ‘summer’ show
  3. Never had a number and for Irish concerts never not had a wristband. The beauty of a small country
  4. What a sequence of songs to finish the album. Priest / Ghosts / Orphans / Dreams. I love the whole album and if playing complete I never skip a song but will often stick on Side 3, each one of those is a classic I think. Surely up there with the best of Bruce’s sequence of tracks?
  5. Thanks for posting these clips, this is probably my favourite song of all time (thought that flips, as we all know). That’s most recent version, solo...outstanding. Hadn’t seen that before.
  6. Looks like it features Wild Billy, Blinded by the Light and Prisoner? This Just In: The Live Archive release for March will drop next Friday the 12th. We'll see you there along with the acrobat, the diplomat and the prisoner.
  7. I wouldn’t be sure the Reading and Leeds festivals will go ahead. Very stupid to announce immediately on the back of Idiot Johnson’s announcement. It’s far too early to be planning 2021 festivals
  8. It doesn't happen to the best of us.....you might even say it only happens to the worst of us.
  9. I had never heard this song before, thanks for mentioning it. That is beautiful and so sad.
  10. Please Bruce, please pay Sleepy Joe's cafe. For the craic.
  11. So we have a poll in work where I along with my team get to nominate an Album of the year and we ask people to vote. It’s all good fun. Currently Bruce needs your help. If you are on twitter please have a look and vote. If The Boss wins The Boss will be happy! Many thanks
  12. I was at this, 3 nights after another incredible show in Belfast. Boy, that was a hell of a week.
  13. Lyrics for Power of Prayer clearly paying homage to Ben E King at the end. The lyric sheet says Benny King. That’s sloppy work for a professional corporation. Is Barbara Carr still about?
  14. The film has been released early, officially. So you can hear the songs the day before the album is released. Its sanctioned stealing.
  15. If you pre order CD from amazon or whomever, and it arrives a day early (Thursday), are you stealing if you listen to it?
  16. How does the second one harm the copyright holder if the downloader will be paying for the content in a few days?
  17. To everyone on this thread who says that listening to the album in advance of release is 'stealing' the album; have you ever listened to a bootleg? Bought one at a record fair (remember those?), or downloaded a bootleg? Was that stealing?
  18. Opinons opinions.....I would never regard SJC as a 'throwaway', or WOASD for that matter. There is a place in the world for sunny, bright, jaunty fun songs. Not everything has to be a morose introspective tear jerker. Bruce knows that very well, thankfully.
  19. The best line from the Times Review: To mislay not one but three masterpieces for almost 50 years does seem careless, but 1971’s loss is 2020’s gain.
  20. Fair enough Steve. A sincere apology should be taken as such. (Even if you did block me on twitter with another blast of profanities a few weeks ago)
