  1. His collaborations with JM sound interesting too
  2. I’m from Bedworth just a couple of miles down the road, small world!
  3. Come across this at work today, made myself laugh anyway although not many of non Bruce fan friends got the reference!
  4. I’m a Swifty and I have no shame admitting it. I bet Bruce thinks she’s brilliant as well
  5. I want to hear an E Street version of ‘The Wind And The Rain’. For a full 18 minutes. GIVE ME WHAT I WANT
  6. 1. Matt Berninger Serpentine Prison 2, Bruce - Letter To You 3. The Killers - Imploding The Mirage 4 - Taylor Swift - Folklore 5. Run The Jewels - RTJ4 6. Fontaine’s DC - A Hero’s Death 7. IDLES - Ultra Mono 8. Bob Dylan - Rough And Rowdy Ways 9. Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia 10. Tame Impala - The Slow Rush
  7. I’ve gone and listened to Bleachers back catalogue. It’s very good.
  8. Pet Sounds is amazing. I’m surprised Radiohead ‘Kid A’ is rated so high, when both ‘OK Computer’ and ‘The Bends’ are flawless classics
  9. I voted for Priest. I don’t get the hate for Rainmaker, I think it’s great!
  10. People are being very over the top about a bloody song. Chill out
  11. Are the two singles released so far groundbreaking? No. Are they fun to tap your foot along to? Absolutely. I’m not sure what some people are expecting from a 71 year old at this point
  12. I am home now convalescing. It’s the worst I’ve ever felt, covid is no joke! Thank you for asking, much appreciated
  13. Hi guys, just letting you all know I have been in hospital for the last three nights with coronavirus. I am going home today. My symptoms was in the form of the worst head pain I’ve ever had. They thought it might be meningitis at first, before I tested positive for Covid. I’m on the mend now though!
  14. So far I’ve got Dropkick Murphys in February, Frank Turner in March, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds in May and the Killers in June or July
  15. Saw a lot of it over the weekend. The Cure were unreal. IDLES were my favourite though, their energy is fantastic. The Killers were brilliant but they are a brilliant band so expected them to be!
  16. I have listened a fair few times now. It is a stunning record. There isn’t a single track I dislike. It’s a proper album too, you can tell Bruce put a lot of thought into the sequencing. Lyrically it’s fantastic too. So many lines that hit me in the gut. I can’t remember the last time his lyrics grabbed me like the ones on this album have. Even the Wrecking Ball album, which I love, didn’t hit me like this one.
  17. Think Drive Fast is currently my favourite track. Also how majestic is the transition of Chasin’ Wild Horses into Sundown, gives me goosebumps
  18. ‘Stones’ has absolutely floored me. The repetition of ‘those were the lies that you told me’ is simple yet so effective
  19. I would kill for a pristine version of ‘The Wind And The Rain’
