  1. Wow, what a gorgeous song! The vocal performance alone brought tears to my eyes!
  2. I just reloaded the page and got a message that the site is being updated:
  3. Yes, although now the release (11/9) will only be three days out from Veterans Day (11/11).
  4. One thing's for certain, it puts the release date a lot closer to Veteran's Day. That screams Night for the Vietnam Veteran to me but I guess we'll find out for sure on the 9th.
  5. Yes! Love that idea! Someone validate that man's parking!
  6. I was thinking the same thing. I also just noticed that E Street Radio is playing the Roxy show Friday evening. They're playing Darkness shows all week, but the other show they're playing that day, the Agora 8/9/78 show, has already been released.
  7. I'm still waiting on Roxy '78 and Night for the Vietnam Veteran. But I'm patient. There seems to be a lot of support for Wembley 2002 so I'd be good with that for the next release.
  8. Thanks for the links. It it possible to use the FLAC files with iTunes without having to convert them to ALAC?
  9. As much as I'm hoping for Roxy '78, I can wait. It feels like The Rising tour is due.
  10. Seems like time's running out for a "Christmas surprise" release...
  11. Personally, I want all of the 1978 radio broadcast shows remastered and released, especially the Roxy show. We have the Agora, but we need the Capitol, Fox, and Winterland shows as well. Okay, honestly, the Roxy is all I really care about, but most of the others are pretty iconic shows as well. After that, I want the Vietnam Vets show from '81. THEN we can get something from the Rising tour. Hey! What's with all the eggs and tomatoes flying my way? ;-)
  12. In no particular order: Jackson Browne Venice Steve Morse (for his work with the Dixie Dregs & the Steve Morse Band, but NOT Deep Purple) Al DiMeola Bob Dylan Rod Stewart Van Halen (both versions) Paul Simon Beatles Neil Young
  13. I love what Tom Morello brings to the band but this song leaves me underwhelmed. I don't hate it, but I wasn't fond of it in its Blood Brothers incarnation and this one is only different because of Morello. My take is that I want to know, definitively, what larger, if any, project this track is part of. Back to the song, I think my biggest complaint is that it feels lyrically light to me. That's probably due in large part to it being a cover, but then Jersey Girl, another cover, is much stronger lyrically.
