That's one great post. The toon are of course the lakes best supported team.

It's always good to see a football team beat a bunch of cheating thugs.

Totally deserved last nights win, 3rd place ? Could never have dreamed of that before the season.

Pardew is doing a great job, long may he continue to prove me wrong.

Best defence in the Premier League BTW cool.gif
Ba can't here many people slagging the Toon off now !

Can Toon make the top 4? If united and city tie up the first two places that leaves 2 places between these 5 and I reckon it's all to play for.

chelsea

spurs

arsenal

liverpool

newcastle

it's possible...

Can Toon make the top 4?

Nope, a top ten place will do for me, staying up is still the main target.

But at the moment we're the 3rd best team in the best league in the world, and I'm loving it.

I agree, but IF we get through the tough part of our season grabbing points here and there then maybe the last Europa League spot might be in reach for us.

Even a top half finsh is massive for us how much did we spend in the summer 7 million? then look at the mackems with there 25 million signings :D:lol:

A hard fought win over Everton. We looked knackered and now have injuries in key positions.

But - currently 2nd in the league! Should I shouting on the mackems against ManUre? No - I'll settle for 3rd at this stage of the season.

WWhat was the Newcastle keeps doing a fraction of a second after Everton scored, he stopped his attempt at the ball as he realised it was past him and then did an extra dive, just seen it again and I laugh every time

ginslinger

just wathced the game a scrappy win and yes you're right the squad depth is going to be tested guess the week off next weekend might help

but shouldnt everton have had a point that was definitely a handball by taylor about 10 minutes into the second half.

No way did Taylor handle the ball.

Now if you'd said Gosling, I just might have to agree.

It's fairly typical though - the big teams (you know, the Champions League contenders)get all the breaks

(fully aware that those will probably be our last points for a while, but you've got to gloat when you've got the chance)

The game on Saturday was good but we were lucky to be honest, an awful own goal and a wonder strike from Ryan Taylor. In the second half we created nowt decent and Everton had all the play, but who cares were F&%King 3rd!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

BTW they built the game up to be a cracking atmosphere but wasn’t anything like Spurs a few weeks ago, that second half was mental. Still 50000+ isnt bad B)

Also we need to tie down that curly haired centre back of ours, what a legend I would be gutted if the bloody scousers bought him as well.

Looks like Toon wont be playing at St James Park for much longer.

Mike Ashley has just forced through a deal to have it renamed the Direct Sports Arena.

Catchy, huh?
