What you lot moaning at !

We had Ken Bates!

Thanks f**k he has gone!

Rant over!

----------------------------------------

Anyway are you lot ready for 6000 Leeds fans coming up!

I have read somewhere you are boycotting the match is that right?

nah, no boycott just yet, a protest march before the Liverpool game is the only thing planned.

And yes Leeds have had it far worse that the Toon, but that's why we want the fat git out of our club, we could easy "do a Leeds" under that loony.

Should be a great atmosphere when your lot come up

I did some business with him about 15 years or so ago, I can't tell you what a nasty horrible bloke he was to deal with.Never met anyone else who has anything good to say about him either.

Some of the biggest names to have worn Newcastle United's famous black and white stripes in recent history will return to the St. James' Park pitch next week to honour goalkeeper Steve Harper's 20-year spell at the Club.

The Steve Harper 20 Years Charity Match, which kicks off at 7pm on Wednesday 11th September, will bring together an illustrious squad of former Magpies stars against Milan Glorie - a legends team from European football heavyweights AC Milan.

Harper, whose two decades on Tyneside only ended this summer when he joined Barclays Premier League new boys Hull City, has called former teammates including strikers Alan Shearer, Andy Cole, Les Ferdinand and Faustino Asprilla into his United ranks, as well as Magpies first team coach Steve Stone, football development manager Peter Beardsley and current Birmingham City boss Lee Clark.

In addition to popular figures including Rob Lee, Nolberto Solano and Nikos Dabizas, they will be joined by former Toon midfielders Joey Barton and David Ginola, who confirmed their attendance this week.

fifty thousand canny crowd for a long serving reserve goalie...

Could you imagine the party in Newcastle city center if we ever won a pot ?

Not sure you will to worry about that problem this season. Would be great if they did though .

  • 3 weeks later...

BTW Andrew, Newcastle had a canny win in Wales today...any idea who it was against ?

10 points for Newcastle...a quarter of the way to safety B)

Or to give it a glass-half-full treatment, only six points off the top o' the table..............that being LFC.
