November/December Australia Tour (inc Perth)

I'm surprised if this is part of a new album tour when the final WB dates haven't been played yet and there's been no album announcement. This could be a little one-off tour for the hell of it, sort of, but not quite WB.

If it is the start of the cycle again, I can't see another European summer next year, how much does he think we earn?? It's got to be US first. Maybe do old school with Europe arenas in Autumn/Winter end of 2014, then Europe stadiums for Summer 2015. That seems the most likely balanced option to

You say how much does he think we earn but then suggest tour end of 2014 AND summer 2015?!That would bankrupt me, couldnt do it.
But think I'm right in saying that's how it worked with new album tours in the past. I remember my buddy going to see The Rising at Wembley Arena quite late one year, then we went together to Crystal Palace the following Summer. I think with Magic there was a Winter O2 show and then I saw him at Emirates the following Summer. You're being a little unfair to my intelligence there. I also think it's too soon for Europe when he's not played the States for a while. Again, based on the past, there's normally two legs in the US for a new album isn't there. It's not that I don't want more Europe dates, although I can't afford it at the mo, I'm just thinking about the past.

didnt mean to insult you at all.I read your comment as meaning two mini tours rather than summer 2014?To me, that would be very tempting but couldnt afford to both but I supoose could do one show at end of year and one or two in sumer....We will have to see what happens!Exciting times again!

Sorry again.Lets get back to Bruce and being happy at all the rumours!

No worries man, just spouting ideas myself. Just thought looking at past activity was reasonable. Who knows what will actually happen. Who would have thought he'd start playing festivals after that long for example.

See you down the road.

He just about sold out every concert in europe. Tens of thousands of people at all of them.

He could do the same again next sumer no problem at all.

Only a very small percent oif the folk at each show attend multiple shows.

And given how amazing his concerts are, im sure that many casual fans who just attended their first concert would find the money to attend again.

yes and there are many places in Europe that he played in 2012 and didn't return there in 2013 so you could put an itinerary together just from that pretty much. Must be Ullevi time again surely.

That is normal for big bands 2 straight years not come to same places.Other countries also would like to see him.Ah yes, But for Bruce is different story. He isnt

so demanded elsewhere, so variations for his tours are very very minimal.

The shows in February will not be a continuation of the Wrecking Ball tour but special concerts for his patient Australian fans who had not seen him for a decade before his triumphant run this year.

The 60 mins Aus blurb already said it was part of the planning for another world tour.

i'd like to get over to a sydney show, but i dont think i can afford to stay in Australia for very long. Is it possible/safe/legal to fly over for a night and then fly back to the UK? or will this cause me hallucinate and make friends with purple giraffes?

Bloody hell! That's £134 a ticket! SO expensive!

Is this regarded as really expensive over in your country Australians?

It is expensive. But compared to some other current tours, its not way over the top of what could have been expected. Looking at the Frontier (promoters) website, they have the top Leonard Cohen tickets for $287. But then Muse (who with LC and Bruce all play the same Perth venue) top out at $130 for a GA ticket.

Yes

Australian fans will be given the added bonus of the return of Steve Van Zandt to the E Street Band - and the inclusion of Rage Against The Machine's master axeman Tom Morello who filled in for Van Zandt in March.
