Got to see her and the Nocturnals at a 500 seat venue in CT several years ago. They rocked it.

ChurchBay
This track came onto my itunes. Two songs on one track. Near 7 minutes of sheer bliss where the joy comes as much from the sweet (yet almost aching!) nostalgia it conjures up for me as much as the truly gorgeous melancholic vocal melodies from Chris Martin. I was 17 and starting the last year at school when they released this and it rang through my ears throughout that whole year. Coldplay were never better than they were on this album. I absolutely loved it and still do.
JimCT
from my drive this morning - G-Dead, Eugene 8/22/93 opening, Jack Straw > Bertha Jerry and his new Lightning Bolt. 2d of 2 shows at Autzen Stadium, late afternoon start on a beautiful late summer day in the Pac NW. Indigo Girls opened both shows. Enjoy! https://archive.org/details/gd93-08-22.sbd.nawrocki.562.sbefail.shnf/gd1993-08-22d1t1.shn

JimCT
G-Dead, 10/15/84 Hartford - smokin' hot Sugaree, and the rest of the show is excellent, too. I saw them there on the spring tour, a venue that brought out their best. https://archive.org/details/gd84-10-15.senn.miller.22022.sbeok.shnf/gd84-10-15d1t02.shn

janeymarywendy
Wasn't sure where to put this - a non-Bruce song but Bruce is singing in it! I mentioned Garland Jeffreys in another thread today and it made me have a look on YouTube. Was this a benefit show or something (2003)? Sounds like it's a bit off-key but never mind

Found this: https://chrisledrew.wordpress.com/2014/01/20/reflections-on-john-hiatt-part-1-icy-blue-heart/ Great read, thank you @took me long enough Slow Turning is a near perfect record, start to finish. The fact that side B starts with the 1-2 punch of Ride Along followed by the title track… Wow. A big factor for me is the perfect sound of Jim Keltner’s drums. On Icy Blue Heart these are powerful, but soft… warm, but cold. I also love this live album from the Budokan? album. I love that John speaks the ‘girl you’re a beauty’ line.
