Lord, I'm goin' uptown to the Harlem River to drown
Dirty water gonna cover me over
And I'm not gonna make a sound
40 years ago, during late Sept.-Oct, the G-Dead played a remarkable series of shows, primarily at the Warfield in SF and RCMH in NYC. Each show was an acoustic set followed by two electric sets. RCMH was filmed and released as a movie, "Dead Ahead" (including a brief cameo appearance by my old friend Davy ).
Below is a link to the entire show, but it's set to the acoustic Cassidy. Enjoy!
in my feed this am, Judy Collins on BBC performing Hey, Nelly Nelly, written by Shel Silverstein
later in the video, Gordon Lightfoot, Early Morning Rain - classic 60s
@FRANKC73 said Burnin' Train reminded him of this, so I had a listen. Great song!
today '84, Berkeley - G-Dead, Looks Like Rain
Jerry and Tiger
10/25/79, New Haven - G-Dead, Stella Blue
just so special
1973 - forgive them their mustaches
30 years ago, G-Dead @ Wembley Arena, Jack Straw > Bertha to open
the entire show is great, btw
Jerry and Rosebud, and Bruce Hornsby on piano
Happy Halloween! Warren Zevon, Werewolves of London
