Janis Ian is on my bucket list to see live.

I had no idea she was over.

However it seems they are not coming anywhere near to the North West.

:(

26 January - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Velodrome Cape Town (First Bruce concert, finally... 25 year wait but worth it... I'm starting to get really really excited)

28 January - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Velodrome Cape Town

1 February - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, FNB Stadium Jo'burg

7 February - Johnny Clegg Band Unplugged, Emperors Palace

That's it for now but a pretty good start to the year I think! Santana is playing his first shows in SA next year, FNB Stadium on 1 March so might go to that. Nothing else announced for 2014 so far.

What a pairing this is. I'd kill to see these two bands together.

Nothing planned at all and I like it that way, need a break really.

Will catch Pearl Jam though.

Pearl Jam in Leeds will be a really tough ticket I think.

When the alternative is the MK Bowl (I despise that place), a hell of a lot of fans will be gunning for a ticket.

Good luck Kev.

Lloyd Cole at the Shepherds Bush Empire.

Graham Parker & the Rumour, same venue.

Nick Lowe at the Union Chapel.

Neil Young in Hyde Park.

James Taylor at the Royal Albert Hall.

Did have Georgie Fame & the Blue Flames at Ronnie Scott's, early Jan but cancelled due to Georgie sadly having pneumonia at the moment - hopefully a full recovery for GF and the venue saying the shows might be rescheduled for April, fingers crossed. Get better soon Georgie.

I'm really excited for this. I've never seen either band but I'have heard great things about both.

I have booked for Neil Young/The National/Caitlin Rose/Phosphorescent at Hyde Park.

Also Neil Young in Mainz, Germany. It is near Frankfurt apparently.
