So, in 1971, these guys opened for the Jeff Beck Group at the Academy of Music on East 14th Street in NYC.  I was one of the 2500 folks in attendance at the concert.  Within minutes of performing, they were booed and catcalled off the stage (not because they were Native Americans).  They really sucked!  Who said that the New York crowd could be a rough audience?  At any rate, Beck and company blew the doors off of the place that night.

T-Bone Walker was the pioneer of the blues, shaping the genre with his trailblazing use of early electric guitars. T-Bone Walker was the first to make a guitar wail, cry out and buckle under the weight of his emotion. He has influenced the likes of B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton.
