Every Person Has Value...

Recommended Posts

...but there are conditions attached. The first one is not harming another human being, unless one is being threatened with physical harm or is in danger of losing one's life. This one is a bit tricky, as there are times when one's duty requires killing other human beings. This is the quandary of one who serves his/her country as a member of the military. The second is in believing in one's own worth as a productive human being, and bettering society as a whole by one's own contributions. These contributions have a very wide range, from becoming a scientist or a doctor to being an artist or musician.

This is a worthwhile topic to discuss. Do you believe my premise, and if not, then why not?

to be valued by others and one's self, is surely a human right for without value what is the point

otherwise we are just talking up space on the planet

i think to be valued at work is a very important

because to have your controbution not valued is soul destroying

no matter what your work

everyone plays a part in the whole that is community
