The greatest video ever made - the player, staff, fans and King Kenny singing YNWA after the game if you don't cry watching this you are probably dead inside https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news

Went yesterday, first time in two years. An absolute fantastic day, rounded off with meeting Mo after the game in the petrol station.

Go ahead and kneel José.

Sergio Ramos won’t have the hostile welcome return to Anfield in the CL for the second leg then, and the team bus should be able to drive safely through to the stadium.

WOW, this thread was almost off the first page.

Sergio Ramos out for most of the rest of the season, will defiantly miss two matches v LFC!

Isn’t he a centre half.

?

the curse is spreading

Varane out too - the curse is still spreading

Real Madrid will be without both first-choice central defenders for the first leg, with France's Raphael Varane testing positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday while Ramos is injured.

Jurgen takes the brunt of that for starting Keita. Mind boggling.
It’s not a massive shock to see our CB pairing made to look school boy.
Real’s fourth choice CB was still a 40m signing. Our squad isn’t up to champions league knock out standard.

Didn't deserve anything more out of today's game, to be fair.  Turns out that not having your two best CBs available is a little more of an issue against Real Madrid than against Arsenal.  B)

A very good week so far, LFC back in 7th place in the PL and 3-1 losers in the CL first leg.

You know Man U is doing very well this year, right?  You probably should take enjoyment from your own team's results while you can - been a bit of a drought since Fergie left. Before you say it, not 30 years of drought  but still a bit of a barren spell.

Breaking news : Boris Johnson to order an immediate Public Inquiry into Trent Alexander Arnold’s exclusion from recent England squads. Unthinkable to imagine him missing the Euro Championships this summer. “The best young full back in world football”, screamed Mark Lawrenson. “Class is permanent. Form is temporary”, exclaimed Jamie Carragher. A shame for Trent he has shown no form since last season.

United are improving but it’s also great to see LFC going backwards again. It will be nice if Europa league is the best they can offer to new signings this summer and also limiting their efforts to keep their one or two world class players committed.

So, Gareth was correct, and all the Sky,BBC,ITV etc pundits were wrong. As usual Madrid had done their homework and knew the weak link was Righ Full Back and they peppered that side of the field all night, and got just reward.

My plea to Mr Southgate is please, please, please, PLEASE pick TA-A for the Euro`s, a back line of TA-A,Stones and Maguire wonderful.

Armpit offsides are back  a full 90 seconds and over a dozen touches before the goal really .. the game has gone it may as well be played by robots on a video game

......and as for the feral Liverpool fans yet again attacking the away team coach, well it just wouldn’t happen in cities like London, Manchester etc. Hopefully UEFA will look at the shameful scenes from last night and take appropriate action. It’s simply not acceptable and it happens before every single big European game there. Disgraceful.

Good run in the CL given their injuries (has anyone mentioned that?) so now they can focus on the race for 4th. Tough game at Leeds next up.

Impressive you can wave your dick about given your performance in Leipzig.

The 5-0 at home wasn’t too bad though or the PSG away win. But we didn’t have many injuries in those games though so that was a massive advantage.
