JimCT
And Happy Birthday to this seminal album, also released today in 1970 - Blows Against the Empire, the amazing concept album from the fertile (and most likely pharmacologically altered) mind of Paul Kantar. Kantar, Grace Slick, Jorma and Jack all from Jefferson Airplane; Jerry, Micky and Billy from the G-Dead; Crosby and Nash - that's an amazing quantity of musical talent. Side 2 is a tour de force - Sunrise / Hijack / Home / Have You Seen the Stars Tonight / XM / Starship - is the heart of the "concept". Give them a spin. Headphones in a dark room recreates the original 70s vibe, too

GREAT album! I love it too. (It doesn't hurt that Fun House is my favorite album ever!) I maybe should listen to that now, actually...

My contribution to their database: https://www.discogs.com/The-Stooges-Live-At-Goose-Lake-August-8th-1970/release/15740154 I was pretty excited when this came out! (what's funny is after coming on here, I forgot what album I was thinking of listening to after Van Halen - it was Born To Run!) 1

soulcrusader78
Fantastic album, been a while - but I totally prefer the single versions of This Perfect Day and esp. Do The Robot.

Lampi
The Tremolo EP, 4 songs. Very exiting music if you take the time for it, just to listen to it (not music to play while doing the dishes).
