Time to change your title thread Greetings

Move onto the next track .... Goin down down down

GJ21 you fail to grasp the reason for my title thread. "Glory Days well they'll pass you by, Glory Days in the wink of a young girl's eye......" was chosen because in sports the Glory Days don't last long so fans have to enjoy their teams success while they can.

This is the third match in a month that Barcelona has allowed 4 goals into their net. The time is now to assess the problems in defense but with the Las Palmas game only a couple of days away, time is extremely limited. I would suspect tomorrow's training session will be important as Luis Enrique has his work cut out for him trying to lift the spirits of the club. I was impressed by the gracious attitude of Enrique's post-match interview who instead of making excuses focused on Celta de Vigo's well deserved three points.

Former Barcelona man Nolito was a significant impact on Celta's win, as did their keeper Sergio who made save after save against Messi and company. Of course most people were probably more surprised by the attacking skills of Iago Aspas who's pair of goals leaves Liverpool fans scratching their heads in disbelief.

Time to turn the page.

Cristiano Ronaldo is "in great form" as he chases Real Madrid's goalscoring record, says boss Rafael Benitez.

The 30-year-old, who needs a hat-trick against Malaga to overtake Raul's 323-goal mark, has scored in two of Real's six games this season - although he has netted eight in those two matches.

"I know he's going to score loads of goals," Benitez said.

"He is still getting plenty of shots on goal. You get chances and a lot of the time it's the keeper who denies you."

Ronaldo - who has failed to score in his last two games - has taken only 306 appearances to score his 321 goals for Real Madrid. Former Spain striker Raul needed 741 games to set his record.

The Portugal forward is already Real's top scorer in La Liga history with 230.

What is it with Barcelona players not paying their taxes..Neymar the latest one...

The parents of the Brazilian football star, Neymar, have denied their son has done anything wrong, after a judge formally accused him of evading $16m in taxes.
