GreetingsFromBarcelona
Peach of a pass from Neymar to Sandro who has acres of space and time to shoot sends his strike wide of the net. Chance for the youngster Sandro to be a hero.
GreetingsFromBarcelona
Barcelona 2 - Las Palmas 1 Congrats to Barca for the win however I'm very concerned about Messi's left knee and anxiously awaiting news about it.

LeoGetz
Yes, 6 to 8 weeks. Barça in big, big trouble.
GreetingsFromBarcelona
beeb says messi out 8 weeks Andrew as much as I respect the beeb, I still take their reporting with a grain of salt. The official Barcelona Twitter feed direct from the clubs medical staff has confirmed 7-8 weeks. As expected, very dissapointed considering this season hasn't gotten off to a flying start. It's not surprising considering all the football Messi has played over the last year. However, it sucks regardless having our "key player" out that long. I suspect Munir will be playing a lot more over the next month as will Sandro possibly.
GreetingsFromBarcelona
The Internet is melting down as Messi fanboys accross the globe express their concerns. I just saw this tweet: "Messi is out injured for up to two months, world implodes"
LeoGetz
If certain other players don't get their shit together immediately, La Liga could be lost by November.
GreetingsFromBarcelona
If certain other players don't get their shit together immediately, La Liga could be lost by November. More doom and gloom from Leo! Hey what's in the Austrian water? (Just kidding) Yes you do make a significant point Leo, a string of mediocre or bad results could certainly leave Barca out of the race.

Hey what's in the Austrian water? (Just kidding) Yes you do make a significant point Leo, a string of mediocre or bad results could certainly leave Barca out of the race. Our water is the best! Just look at how we played in the last weeks. Now imagine this without Messi. My hope is, that other players will step up now. And they all know they have to. I expect more effort, passion and concentration in the coming weeks. The upside is that Real and Atletico are also not at their best.
GreetingsFromBarcelona
Agreed Leo, a Messi injury can either galvanize the team or it can create chaos. I do expect as proffesionals the remainder of the team steps it up. Hey just wanted to share with you a quick story, Last night I went with a friend to the Cactus Club here in Vancouver. Tonight our local club Vancouver White Caps are set to play New York FC. When Shane and I walked in to the restaurant I couldn't believe my eyes - there was David Villa having dinner with Andrea Pirlo! After they finished eating and left the Cactus Club, I went outside and had a chance to meet them. Very cool guys! My girlfriend and I are attending the match tonight at BC Place. Hey one more thing... 72 minutes played and Malaga is holding Real Madrid at home 0-0.

AMIW
didn't Ronnie Aldo over at Real Madrid get charged with the same thing after laundering money through some Portuguese Island and nothing ever came of that either - men in suits meet underneath highway bridges in the dead of night, envelopes of cash are exchanged and the whole thing gets forgotten - ah the modern game of football.....
