Opinions on Windows 10?

Recommended Posts

Good question! I get the same pop-up but so far I have refused to upgrade. When it comes to computers I don't like to change things that work. And so far my 8.1 works perfectly.

Microsoft have ironed a lot of the bugs out now. If you're just using your PC for home use, and don't mind a few minor layout changes, upgrade. If you use it for business, or have any unusual third party software, old/legacy software etc, I wouldn't bother, it'll likely cause you issues. Although you get a month to downgrade from the date you run the upgrade (in the settings menu) so you could still try it anyway. I use Win 10 at home and find it pretty good. It does run updates automatically unless you tinker with it though, which can be a bit irritating!
