Mis mis mis  - Danish

And let me introducere My cat:

His name is Frederik, named after a Danish childrens rhyme, Lille frække Frederik, little naughty Fredrick.

Because he raided our home when we got him almost 10 years ago.

Most of the time, I call him … Mis or Misser, which will be Kitty in English

He looks like our Misty.  I like his bed.

He's gorgeous!  Glad he's all better now.  He got shaved a bit looks like.  Did he have a surgery?

No surgery! thank God, What we gathered is he must have been on top of the cabinets jumped, missed his footing, landed on his chest. Bruised and internal bleeding filling up his chest. Almost lost him! The shaved part you see was for the chest tube to drain fluid's off his chest, for 6 of the longest days of my live!

The most expensive free cat in the world!

Oh my, poor guy.  Now you're poorer too ;) but worth it.  It's never cheap going to a vet, never mind for major issues.

With a previous grand-puppy off to Florida due to relationship explosion for my son, my daughter has secured a replacement.  Cooper is an intelligent pup and wants to be a Sierra trail dog soooo bad!

Cooper has turned out to be a GREAT trail dog.  He is smart and inquisitive, and investigates things when we hike or snowshoe, but always waits to make sure we are not far behind.  Our daughter has decided to ditch our White Christmas in the mountains for a trip to Maui with friends, so we get a growing puppy for Christmas.

Merry Christmas, Lakers!

I had to say goodbye to my Hunter Boy January 12, 2022. He had been having problems getting sick to his stomach since late summer. After months of trying different foods because the vet thought/hoped it was a food allergy we finally got a referral to a specialist in Edmonton in December where they found he had large cell lymphoma.  Put him on Prednisone and that helped for a time, got us through the holidays at least, but it’s effectiveness wore off and he started losing weight early in the new year.  My friend is a vet and she came to the house and did her thing. It was very peaceful and less stressful than having to take the drive to the clinic. I’m so glad he no longer is hurting. One of the great losses of my life, it’s crazy how you can love something that never uttered a single word so deeply. Sure will me miss all the cuddles, purrs, head bunts, chin rubs, etc.
