The Dogs of the Lake - post your pics (Cats and others welcome as well)

That's Abbie the dog and Charlie the cat. They are 14 and 17 respectfully. Both aren't doing well and won't be around much longer. Animals are my soft spot.

Its not a muzzle it's a pull harness thingy. I don't usually use it but I'd damaged my knee at work and really couldn't take being dragged. His dad is a champion sledge puller and he's following in his footsteps.

I like that you called him "she" though. He does have issues when using public bathrooms.

Well, that's good, because if you called him by the shorter version, you'd never know who was going to answer.

That holds true for Fucknut as well.

Yeah, Alaskan can be so suggestive in other languages. Kay's PMs are often outrageous but I have to giver her benefit of the doubt,

His name is Wanker? Do you ever call after him in the street?

The best part about having a dog named Wanker is that he will also answer to "Sting" or "Mr. Sumner".

A maniac Rat Terrier?

I'm actually not 100% sure what the Vic is. Got him from a vet who had rescued him. Should have known something was amiss when the vet was willing to drive nearly 2 hours to drop him off. That was nearly 5 years ago and Victor is still crazy.

I'll have to go and take a picture of my two adorable cats, named Emma and Lizzie, after Jane Austen heroines. But then again, I don't want to defile this dog-adoring thread. Or rather, they just might not find the company to their liking, being very particular cats.

This is my fav thread.

I had a Cocker Spaniel for 15years, I don't have a good digital photo of her, passed away in 2007.

Yes very sad, matter as I'm at the Vets right now with Abbie. Think she has a bad heart or liver. Either way it sucks

Besides our three dogs, I don't have a picture of our 45 pound female Pit, we have four cats. All of our "kids", large and small, were rescues.

I love all these pics. Makes me want to get a pet again.

I would love another dog but I work full-time and cat is not an option, my garden backs onto the woods, I would  find a present waiting for me every day.
