Couldn't make it up

There's SO many things wrong with that whole story.

Not least of which........£60 a bastard ticket.

The world is just screwed.

The price for the cheapest ticket, all the way up, last row, for Barças home match against the mighty Levante this Saturday, in which they'll most likely secure the league title, costs 99 Euros. NINETY-NINE EUROS!!!

When I was a lad it used to  cost, roughly, the same to get into the fitba as the movies, now it's, what, fifteen quid to get into the pictures?

Maybe more maybe less depending on the movie and any offers, but it's not in the same ball park.

The cost of going to a match is just ludicrous.

Aye

Its a fucking disgrace, especially in my case the money goes to a fat fucking greedy cockney bastard like ashley

I hate it that a fat cunt like him has stopped me going to the match

My mates all agree with me, but they can't stop, they're better fans than me...better Newcastle United fans

But I've got something else they haven't got..The Boss

Aye, true Roy.

But just remember that you and me have paid our dues for years, we'll be around when Mike Ashley and Stuart Milne are footnotes in history.

Whether fitba as we know it will be...………….

On the street where I was born, Morland Road, Old Trafford, Man City owned a string of terraced houses. They used to let them to some of the players to help get around the salary cap !

We only got to know one player, because he had lots of kids....Ken Brannigan. I think he was in a house he had bought ( it was opposite ours )...also think one of the boys went on to become a pro...James. They were Catholics, so we were a bit wary of them !

We didn't use jumpers for goalposts

mentioned that on the prem league thread BTW - hope the FA look at that and rescind the 3 match ban for the villa player

and instead ban bamford - who obviously learnt the dark arts during his many many years in the chelski loan army

Man City having to display digital flags on the advertising boards now. This is everything wrong with modern football.
