The European Cup being ironically renamed the "Champions"(sic) League with the final being contested by two teams who, combined, have not been domestic champions for eighty seven years.

true but would you rather the final feature Celtic who have been champions for approximately the last 87 years??? :P

Also, potential European champions Spurs have lost  Premier league games this season to Watford, Burnley, Liverpool (x2), Man City (x2), Arsenal, Wolves, Man Utd, Chelsea, Southampton, West Ham and Bournemouth. :o

Fuck no. We hear enough up here about them winning it in 1967.

Imagine if they actually won it recently......

I estimate this stat will be repeated ad infinitum until this time next year!

The EL final stadium in Baku holds 68.000...

Arsenal and Chelsea each get 6.000 tickets

I couldn't agree any more with you Leo

Same as the champions league final

That's why the atmosphere will be crap because it will be full of rich glory hunter fans who have more than likely never been to the home ground of the team they say they love so much.

What's the allocation for the European Cup Final?

12k to the clubs in a capacity of 68 is just bollocks.

It's in Baku FFS, how many prawn sandwichers are going to travel?

It would be easier if Man U were in the final. Their fans wouldn't have far to travel!

Rich Glory Hunter "fans" get 70%  ( my dad was a fan )

Proper fans get 25%

Ex players, gobshite TV tosspots and friends of ex LFC players  get 5%

2000 tickets will be available via competitions where you have to pay mega rates ( £3) no chance of winning, in fact you may as well put that £3 on a massive 10000/1 accumulator , same chance.

That’s his actual name. Flew half way round the world to see that shit, poor lad.

Aye, I heard that.

I mean, you'd think he'd be tuned in enough to ........well.......not.

Imagine if his name was Klopp or Gerrard or Shankley or the like?

I'm told, though I am unable to 100% confirm, that this picture was taken at Old Trafford today.

I assume he'll be supporting City against Watford as they try to complete an unprecedented domestic treble. He wouldn't want to appear fickle or hypocritical by switching allegiance would he?

Cup presentations.

The winners go up first, in a line, captain first, goalie second.

He gets presented and passes it along and everyone lifts it in turn before the runners up go up to get their medals.

This a'body on the podium at once, runners up going past first is wanky-pants.

I remember when Paul Lambert was at Dortmund when they won the European Cup.

He must've changed his name as the commentator referred to him constantly as "Lambert the Scot".
