Absolutely nailed it, KG.

Case/carton = box of 24 beers. Slab = box of 30 beers.

When we used to underage drink, our parties would be fueled by cartons of throw-downs of VB.  They were good cos they were small enough that they never got warm before you finished them...

Oh ffs.

I’ve barely managed to learn your draught beer measures by state and now you tell me that you’re all fucked up in your cans and bottles as well?

You people......

Relax mate, you're marrying someone from ONE state, as such you need to learn that lingo, and then scoff and roll your eyes and tell all the others that they're wrong, or crazy or whatever you like. Unless of course her family are from a different state, then best learn that one too, when the in laws send you to buy the beer knowing what is ordered is critical!!

That’s how we tell people from different states apart because our accents are quite similar.

That and how they dress.

Regardless of the state, stay away from the Bundaberg Rum. Nothing good ever came from drinking that stuff....

Leave it on the shelf where it belongs, it has no value and serves no sensible purpose.

When the bottle shop is closed, you can buy it after hours at Bunnings.  It's sold under a house brand label:

You know how Jim Beam and Jack Daniels drinkers are sometimes stereotyped as bogans?

Bundaberg Rum drinkers make those folk look cultured

Thanks Daisey. I was lucky as there was flooding to the north of me and then to the south of me but we just got a decent amount for the garden. The term flash flooding is the perfect term for what happened. It went from completly dry to cars floating away in 20 minutes in some areas.

alot of people out of their homes and farmers unable to get to their stock

its pretty bad down Nelson.  it's south of where my brother in law lives thank goodness

but it shows all that training we do sending firefighters to Aussie bush fires and to USA fires pays off

the fire season here seems to have expanded

is it ok where you live ?
