I had a day off today and, at one point, I found myself in Asda in Inverness.   Two young lads, I'd guess no older than 20ish, who worked there were chatting in one of the aisles when I pass

So they have to be punished. The whole "yeah, but others do it too" is just an admission of guilt. I understand it stings, but City agreed to the FFP rules, then went on to break them anyway. Serves t

LFC went 10 points clear of city the night they beat arsenal 5-1. City played at Southampton the next day.

I’m not sure how much city’s success really means to those loyal city fans who went to matches home and away pre the Sheikh Mansour takeover but let’s be frank, I know that I would rather city win the league than LFC win a corner.

Ok. So only with a game in hand. City win it for loads of logical reasons:

- better starting 11

- much better squad

- score goals from all through the side

- won it before

- slightly better keeper

In truth Liverpool have never looked the best side in the league outside of December. To be fair the injuries have been crazy in 2019 and no one can blame his pressing style this time around.

Klopp has done an incredible job to move them from where they were to here. It won’t be enough to take the title though.

Chasing four trophies takes its toll but the best team always wins the league. This could be the only time I can think of where the best team does not win the league.

Personally I think city will win two trophies. The league title and either the league cup or the fa cup.
