I heard Robin Scott of M sing 'Pop Musik' with British Electric Foundation at an 80s festival in 2015, and amazingly it was the first time he had ever performed it live.  Or so they said.

So he’d ask to ‘meet him in the cities tonight?’ :D

Actually being a huge MTM show fan, I knew that!

So … Mary didn't climb in. He went back for her but she'd gone. Checked out.

No, she climbed in, but then they had problems, so they ride to the sea ( I always envisioned them going West) to wash the sins off their hands. They made a go of it for awhile, but then she leaves because of something he shouldn't have done.  He's chasin' Wild Horses trying to forget her.

I'm still working out the rest...

I always envisioned the sin washing in Belmar.  8th Ave. where there’s a 7-11 across the street from the boardwalk.

But many years after the sin washing they chased their wild horses west...

Any songs that folk don't like?

The Wayfarer bugs me at the end, don't like the music or the extra vocals.

Do that one again, Bruce. :D

It's probably my least favourite ... at the moment! When I first listened, he sounded a bit out of tune to me, but on closer listening last night (earphones) I realised I was wrong :P

I don't think there is. Oddly enough, the one I am paying least attention to is Hello Sunshine, but that might be because I played it to death when it was the only one we could hear.

I love the words in The Wayfarer but the music and arrangement reminds me of Let's Be Friends. I'm saying that from memory as there's no way I'll revisit that song. :D

There’s nothing I don’t like.

There were a few that I didn’t dislike, but could ‘take or leave’ at first.  But after just a few listens they moved into the ‘like’ category, and after a few more, the ‘love’ category.

I still have my “favorites,” but I can honestly say I love this album from start to finish.

Even the cover.  I know there are people who hate it.  I love it.  I think it fits the nature of the album perfectly.

Don't like "Hello Sunshine" at all.

My brother lived in Wilmington for a bit a few years back (work related).  Lovely area as I recall from my one visit.  Good luck with everything.  And as Ann said... yes! Excellent omen!  :)

Then yesterday morning on our way out of town, we stopped at the local IHOP to fuel up for the ride and TOL was playing.  Carolina seems to be calling.

As a person who gets throughly excited when the flakes fall... this makes me very sad

I know I’m in the minority with that one though!

My BIL lives in NC (he’s with you on the white stuff), and he still sometimes gets snow.  Not at all like here, in amount or frequency; but just enough to mess everything up.  Especially since he says they don’t have the equipment to properly deal with it.

Probably less of an issue in Wilmington I think.

Good luck with everything!!  Hope you find the house of your dreams!

I am with you on this one.

This is the only song I have yet to connect with totally.

I keep thinking it is getting better half way through and then it loses me again before the end.

But one out of 13 aint bad in my book;)

Ha! I liked it at first then realised it was really bugging me at the end … then before the end … from about halfway! When the middle music comes in you think it's not too bad … then it's downhill from thereon in. :)
