We (Villa) were going to lose this game anyway, but that penalty being given and then VAR looking the other way is utterly disgraceful.

Started off well but you could see them lose heart after that bizarre penalty decision.

As bad a penalty decision as I’ve seen. The fact VAR hasn’t over ruled that is just baffling.

So, for us who hate VAR, you (Villa) would have been fucked anyway. I didn't see this match. So can't comment about the foul.

Not sure what the fuss is about on the pen....nailed on for me, player outwitted by skill.

Lethargic 25 mins at the start, good again in places, Pogba MOM, just give it to Greenwood and let him do the rest.

Greenwood eh, bloody hell. Guess the stronger foot. He’s going to give defenders nightmares for years. What a talent.

The player (Konsa) was not outwitted by skill, the referee was conned by an act of cheating.  The Premier League has now confirmed that the penalty should not have been given and, in effect, both the referee and VAR screwed up.

Should have been a foul to Villa for a high boot and dangerous play, if anything.

Don’t think he cheated to be honest. It was just an awful decision.

Think he expected to get clipped but it didn’t happen.

Luke Shaw looks a different player since the restart. Still looks to he carrying too much weight but he has been in brilliant form.

Decent game that.

Saints well on top in the second half toward the end.

Whilst United are certainly on the up maybe that adds a bit of perspective.

Bit disappointed in Fernandes tonight, thought he was poor.

Reality check, most of them where poor.  If you are going to stand off and not engage then you reap what you sow. De Gea staying at home on the corner, how much longer is that disgrace going to be retained?  Wan Bassaka what a load of spineless crap. Footnote that saints should have been down to 10, but thats aside a reminder of how far United are behind....a million miles, and pretty gutless tonight.

I think we should we always focus on the positives, Man U picked up a valuable point to close the gap to Liverpool to a mere 34 points

Just seen Maguire on the equaliser. What on earth is he doing.

probaly waiting for De Gea to come and sort it......if he had done that would have only been the 8th time this season

Looks like he’s trying to bend one up Wan Bissaka to be honest.
