doesthisbusstop
United in for Sanchez apparently. Still think he will go to City, there’s a title medal waiting for him there if he makes the move now. But if he wants the challenge of playing for (commercially at least) the biggest club in the world then he might yet opt for Stretford ahead of Eastlands. Just pay him a percentage of shirt sales forecasts for either club and then it’s an easy decision!

For every Rashford there are another 3 who get close and another 20 who get nowhere near - waiting to see which way it goes McTominay. Chelski, and then Citeh, have ruined the prospects for so many talented kids in the last decade.

Do you mean English talented kids? Because City has a ton of talented kids, Jesus, Sane, Sterling, Foden, Diaz, and so on.

In fact, how many academy graduates have become regular first team players at Citeh in the last few years? And how many academy graduates have become regular first team players at Chelski in the last few years? They both just buy proven players at inflated prices, which has led to other clubs doing the same to keep up. Still, Utd have had an academy graduate in the match day squad for every game since 1938.

And as nobody ever credits Mourinho in this respect, his handling of Lingard has been brilliant. After his shocking open goal miss which cost us the win at Leicester over Xmas, he challenged him to learn from his “childish” error and dropped him to the bench. His response has been to score in virtually every game since. Every one an absolute cracker as well.
doesthisbusstop
Comfortable tonight as expected, good to pull clear of the chasing pack. Probably need to win 11 of the last 15 games to get 2nd spot.

doesthisbusstop
Loving Tony Martial’s progress this season. Another player Jose challenged to do better last season has responded in the way he wanted. And he’s only just turned 22. Plenty of pace and power up front now when Sanchez arrives. Looking really strong at the back as well, and if Pogba remains fit we should do well in the three competitions.

Never won anything! : Salah - 1 in 1.25 games. Has medals from Chelski but hardly played. : Sturridge - almost 1 in 2. Won stuff with Chelski, nothing since. Injured more than not, looking to leave. : Couthinho - 1 in 4. Has a couple of medals with Inter about 8 years ago. Left to try and win something. :Lallana - 1 in 5. Won a (very) minor trophy with Southampton 8 years ago. : Danny Ings - HaHaHaHa Ha Lots of style, no substance. You were saying??
