The standard is the highest ever.  Open your eyes through the bitterness!  The reds are breaking every record going, second and third place teams have as many points as normal, city, the 100 pointers from last season, the media dubbed "greatest team ever" destroyed.

The jealously in Jurgens reds is beautiful.  I remember 2014 you stating  if we don't win the league that season we never will.  You are nose diving like us In  the 90's

We are the best team in the world in an era of money buying everything with the next spend of a standard premier league club. You should admire because this style of recruitment and set up is the model for you to get back to the top. Because bar a takeover with a sugar daddy you're doomed.

Your manager is a none league manager, there's not one player in that united team that would get in ours or city's starting 11. There's no many who would get In  leicesters.

Worst league ever haha, worst United team ever and fast becoming an irrelevant.

Them saying that it's a poor season is quite predictable, they have to find something to hold onto while their club is being destroyed by poor management.

Next up is saying we're unbearable when we win the league. 30 years of piss taking, Hillsborough/Heysel shouts, Slippy G memes, called rats, bin dippers, you fucking name it. Everyone is whinging we'll be unbearable? Too fucking right we will. We're gonna win the league, no sorry we're gonna destroy the league, and there's nothing they can do to stop it.

In a couple of months we'll be the reigning English, European and World Champions. And this squad is just getting started.

Up the fucking Reds.

If you opened your eyes and stopped listening the all the super-hype by sky you would realise that the standard has always been shockingly poor, every season of the PL there have only ever been 2 or maybe 3 teams worth paying money to see....this season it is Liverpool.

His stupidity gets taken apart on the daily but the whole quality issue is a talking point in most leagues in any era.

I actually think this years standard isn’t bad. Using an argument that goes “Sheffield Utd are ahead of Man Utd proves the league is poor” is clearly nonsense. They are ahead of sides like them, Spurs etc because they are better than them. Better manager and importantly a cohesive vision. They play good football too. Same as Wolves. Same as Leicester.

The PL is what it is even given the media nonsense. It’s a good league. It just so happens that for the last two years it has sides that are also the best in the world and sides that would have dominated any year.

Look at any league - outside of the top 2 to 4 sides the quality is patchy.

The PL remains a brilliant watch.

It’s just the new mantra of the stupid. They have one every year:

- Klopp over trains them

- serial loser

- clown

- Pep is a cheque book manager

- a one man side

The list goes on and on.

They have no brain to actually think for themselves so just repeat what the loudest bloke in the pub says.

Just think about the pain they’ve been in for years. Fucking lovely.

I don't watch Sky and certainly can't stand premier league hype. However, and I'm not saying this is the best ever but we have the current European champions leading, city who were unbelievable last season, two English teams in last season's europa final etc. So to say the standard in poor mainly because United are dreadful is just wrong

It’s really good that Ferguson is still around to see Liverpool back on their perch isn’t it.

To be fair he’s a hugely outspoken fan of Klopp so he’ll know just how great an achievement this will be.

- European Champions

- World Champions

- Champions of England

The way they have done it is incredible too.

If City can get their shit together and win the CL it would be doubly hilarious.

One draw all season is just ridiculous I have to admit. Teams from 20th place to 3rd place used to be worlds apart in quality but not this season. Stevie Gee must look at the competitive quality of the whole PL this season and just think quietly to himself..........bugger.

To be fair when the great man said “knock them off their perch” he was talking about his united winning the league for the first time, as LFC led 18-7. When we won the league in 93 it was absolutely fantastic to think we had knocked the scousers off their perch. Nobody even gave it a second thought that they still led 18-8 !

The way people are talking it’s as if it’s inevitably 31-20 such as their future world domination. Perspective.

The stupidest fan base in world sport attacking Woodward when the problem is sat far closer to the pitch.

James looked class at the start of the season. Regressed horribly. He’s killing them.

Dickheads like Neville giving Little Ole air cover because they used to play with him.

Brilliant.

Never let this end.

JFC is it a prerequisite for Liverpool fans being a condescending cunt - or is it just you?

That first sentence is grammatically nonsensical but I can make out the general tune of it.

Well done to you!

Say what you want about the owners, management, manager, or squad. As a person, Rashford is class.

62 years ago this afternoon, Munich air crash.
Average age of the Busby Babes just 22.
They were already back to back league champions and had just reached the European cup semi final the day before the crash.
Bobby Charlton survived to lift the European Cup 9 seasons later with a new team. How many more league championship medals and European cup medals he would already have won before 1968 is anyone’s guess had the likes of Duncan Edwards, Eddie Colman, Roger Byrne and Tommy Taylor lived.
RIP the legendary Busby Babes.

Ex NUFC player Tom Curry was one of the members of staff who died that day.

Couple of months back Everton were near the drop zone and 9 points behind united.

Now above them.

Imagine being one of those united fans who banged on the Klopp’s a clown and serial loser/Ole is building something drum.

Hugely embarrassing load of halfwits.

Same ones now dragging out the “no quality in this league” catchphrase probably.

See Man U are getting safe-standing ready in one part of Old T.

Seems to be gathering traction.
