Hope this is the case... if not this month then soon. Judging only by the setlist, this looks to be one hell of a show

The possibility of a Born in the U.S.A. World Tour version of "Racing in the Street" getting released from the Archive Series feels very very real right now, more than ever. So we've gotta do what Bruce advised us to do at the end of "The Promised Land" on December 29th, 1980:

"You gotta believe!"

Believe in 6/8/84.

I just realized that we don't have a BITUSA "Racing in the Street", I thought that at least one of the releases had it, but no.

Okay, I'm fine with 8/6/84. Although I'd prefer Kansas City.

If one of the current releases had it, you'd know about it!

Kansas City wasn't recorded in multi-track according to the ITKs on BTX, so August 6th is our best bet.

First times shown are GMT, Apollo and Agora are the same thread, Agora release page linked.

Just over 12 hours to go barring any last minute delay.

A delay would be a massive shame as it seems we're all really up for a release today.

I'd be fine with a soundboard.

Also, I don't listen to anyone who claims to be an insider, no matter how reputable they claim to be. Been burned too many times in the past.

Ditto in that I would prefer Wembley 04 July 85 but 06 Aug 84 would do me just fine for one simple reason: Street Fighting Man!!

Go for Wembley 06 July 85 then and you get Street Fighting Man anyway.

Yeah I noticed that when you first mentioned having been at the show a while back as had only been familiar either the 04 July show previously.  Would be thrilled with that one too to be fair as it also includes the always great Highway Patrolman and another blockbuster Because the Night among other gems...

Consider me a paid up advocate for 06 July 1985 too in that case!

The worst thing about the article on Nugs ? "The Fever '99" is another one of the lost treasure of Bruce's career...

"Despite a long show the night before at the Spectrum (unfortunately not recorded on multi-track due to the venue change for the rescheduled date"

Is there examples of shows released but not on multitrack ? (Cleveland 78?)

Patches aside, from memory the other NUGS releases that aren’t multitracks are:

Albany 02/07/77 (Cassette tape recorded by Chas Gerber)

Rochester 02/08/77 (Cassette tape recorded by Chas Gerber)

Winterland 12/15/78 (15 IPS, two-track master reels; Small portions of “The Promised Land,” “Jungleland,” “Fire,” “Quarter To Three” and Bill Graham’s introduction are missing on the master tapes; a two-track broadcast recording was used to complete the show)

I don't want to crap on this release as I am sure it is a fine show but is anyone else a touch disappointed?

Me. But I'm disappointed in anything that isn't from the Wembley '85 run, or the V Vets show.

Too much repetition in these Archive Releases now to make them credible.

I really hope for another BITU tour show.
And one with Johnny Bye Bye would be great,if recorded.
How long is it since we got the last one...27/9-85.... in the spring of last year?

April 2019 and we got LA 99 a few months later so well overdue BITUSA.

It’s a great, great show to be fair but I am disappointed nonetheless.  After 2005, I think a pre reunion era show was warranted ahead of this
